You haven’t lived until you’ve heard Ball Arena erupt in chants of “WE WANT THE CUP!” So loud you can barely hear anything over the crowd! And it was only 2/3 full!
Yeah, I got to hear it in person in 1997 and 2001, great memories!

As an Oilers fan, I think that if the Avs win the cup Cale Makar deserves MVP. The guy is crazy, the real battle in the Oilers vs Avs series wasn’t even McDavid vs MacKinnon, it was the two players that are always in their shadows, Draisaitl vs Makar.
Avs fan, I agree. Usually Mackinnon and mcdavid are the more noticeable players, but this series makar and drai dominated. Makar had 5 whole points in game 4, and drai had 4

I’m guessing it’s gonna play out something like the blues AVS series. That was a battle an the blues are no joke, a couple bounces an that series goes 7, anything can happen. I think the AVS are the better team especially if they’re both full strength. Goaltending always can be the difference tho, an TB has a huge advantage in that department

So much fun!!! I miss watching the Avs while they wait for the East to find a winner. I'm also going to miss watching this team once the playoffs are done. But for now, the anticipation of the finals is looming and the excitement is huge!! I CAN'T WAIT, Bring it on!
short turnaround for free agency though and all the trading going to take place around the draft. I think free agency is like July 14th and colorado is going to be a hot bed this summer with attracting free agents and the organization as a whole with deciding to re-sign certain guys.

I am an Avs fan. But Draisaitl playing that series was incredible to watch. The guy was on 1 leg practically and still dropping 4 points in the final game. What a display of true heart. Good series, glad the Avs are getting a crack at the cup!

Honestly I think the Avs have played better with Girard out of the lineup
Overall I’d disagree I think Girard should have been on the 3rd dpair but only since I think byram is a better player. He’d easily be top 4 if EJ wasnt playing so damn good.

Well yeah I’ll admit I’ve liked Byram more because he’s a more complete player. Girard just tries way to much and doesn’t simplify his game
Nah Girard was having a great playoff season. Usually, I'd agree with you, but for whatever reason Girard was VERY good until his injury in the postseason.

has frankie played well enough? absolutely. he’s an awesome backup, no denying that. he’a done what a backup needs to do to get shit done & games won. he looked pretty damn shaky during game four, and outside of the game 2 shutout, he’s let in at least one really terrible goal per game.

Frankie was better than kuemper because kuemper couldn’t see the puck. I’m guessing it was the stick in his eye in the first round but if kuemper really is 100% now he will be rock solid in the finals. Frankie is a good goalie but a 100% kuemper is better
If I hear "ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages" one more time....Connor MaGahee is the absolute worst announcer/commentator we've ever had, like nails on a chalkboard. Know your voice limitations, never heard someone who is a broadcaster have so many voice cracks trying to sound excited, FFS.
