@@PeachRap Same haha! It's amazing. The Lightning made the Rangers look like rookies and the Avalanche are making the Lightning look like they are playing in the AHL. It's really like they are in a different league. Have never seen anything like it.
Great job Avs. I am beyond impressed with Cale Makar. The way he is able to transition from defence to offense and also dictate the play is incredible.
Makar is absolutely mind blowing talent. He’s only 23 too he has many many years to grow and develop even more I’m excited to watch him I’ll be following him every season from now on.
What an Avalanche that came down on Tampa. Luckily for them it's only 1 game at the end. They've just been through this before but the Avs are a whole different animal than the Rangers were.
They've only lost twice this entire postseason. If they sweep the Bolts, they'll set the league record for fewest postseason losses by a Stanley Cup winner, a record currently held by... Wait for it... The Colorado Avalanche.
This has got to feel a bit legitimizing for the Oilers- who were widely mocked for their loss to Avs. People trashed Mike Smith, trashed the Oilers overall- but they put up a heck of a fight. The Avs are hungry and relentless!
If someone had told me when the playoffs started that there will be a single game where the opposing team puts the puck 7 times behind the back of Vasy I would have laughed. Let's go Avs 2 more
People talk so much about the rangers series and how tampa came back after losing 2 in a row but this series is SO much different than the rangers series. The avalanche and the rangers are very different teams. Vasilevsky got his bell rung tonight. To be honest, I would not be surprised to see the Avs win in 5 or 6.
Vasil got his bubble burst each time he played the AVS. He is 0-4 or 0-5. Even if the AVs won in season, both teams had teir best roster and yet, the Bolts couldnt make it. This reminds me of Rask who couldnt beat the HABs, never did he.
2 of those goals Vasy probably wants back. The rest were pretty hard to stop almost unstoppable without luck added. Great goals by the AVS. Made the bolts look like a new franchise where the players just met 5min before game time and have no chemistry yet.
A hockey demonstration! They never let the foot off the pedal and Tampa is fortunate that they got “only” 7. The best complete hockey game I have seen in many, many, many years. The Avs are determined to win their third cup.
Makar is such an offensive weapon for a defender, this team knows how to really steamroll its opponent if it gets going early. They say that speed kills, but so does lightning! The series ain't over yet, but Avs are halfway there, they're looking to snuff out a storm...exciting hockey going down
Helm played with the guys who won 4 cups in det, against all those avs teams and now he's helping the bastards in the finals. They are fun to watch and I hope he gets to hoist the silver
As an Avs fan, Detroit and Colorado is the best rivalry in all of sports and it’s almost poetic to see helm doing it for us. Claude Lemeuix started the greatest rivalry ever, those were some amazing series in the 90s and early 2000s
This Avs fan from the battle era has made friends and shared snipes with some of the nicest Red Wings fans over the years. We'll take care of Darren Helm, promise.
I've been watching NHL since 1991 and I've never, ever seen a team so dominant in the finals as the Avs yesterday. It was quite amazing to watch. Sure the Tampa home games might not be as easy but this looked like men versus boys... so TB needs a freakin' miracle to win this series.
40 years of watching hockey. I've never seen a team dominate a game this thoroughly since THOSE Edmonton Oilers. That said, I'm surprised Jon Cooper made almost not adjustments from Game 1. He still committed to forechecking 2 and 3 men deep, despite every single time it got broke, it was an odd-man rush straight to his goal. He kept the same line combinations, even though his checking line simply cannot keep up with McKinnon's line. And his top line is getting outworked and penned in by the Av's checking line. Everything the Lightning did wrong in Game 1 was on display, worse, in Game 2. That's taking nothing away from the Avs, every mistake the Lightning made was forced, and then ruthlessly exploited. While the Avs gave virtually nothing away in return.
know what makes this even more impressive? Missing 2nd line center and all star Nazem Kadri. And missing top 4 dman Sam Girard, who averages 21 minutes a night. Two key players are missing and they pitch a shutout on practically all accounts. Breathtaking.
Never have I enjoyed a game that much like this one last night. Holy damn it was incredible how the Avs dominated the game from start to the end. Tampa looked like juniors team
@@jfedol7760 the way Tampa has been playing these past 2 games, I can only see them scoring from tipped shots or major mistakes by Kuemper. The Avs give them nothing. Even though the puck possession times weren't as lopsided as the score, Tampa had like 2 or 3 good long shifts in the Avs end of the ice. One of them resulted in a decent chance and that was it for them. I really don't want to jinx it but if the Avs keep playing their game I see no possible way the Bolts come back in this series, unless they get an insane amount of puck luck.
@@haynryan87 I think colorado has just invented what is good hockey adaptability. With defenseman that are also potent scoring threats colorado can have guys swap positions and not even worry about it. Wingers can get tied up on the boards and dish it out to a defender on breakouts making it a defenseman on offense. Similarly you'll see moments where a man who's crashing the net or first in the corner will peel off to the point meanwhile one of colorado's defensmen will drop down slightly creating an umbrella-type offense which they can break out even on a 5-on-5
This Tampa team is good but I think this really shows what proper rest gives to teams that are young and fast. Tampa got by a tired and gassed Rangers team. I have never seen a more one sided game and it’s all credit to colorado. You simply cannot do anything against a team that plays that fast for 60 minutes. Utterly insane.

What an incredible display of power and skill, amazing hockey!
From a Habs Fan, Go Avs Go ;) ♥
Fellow Habs fan, but couldn't agree more! I wish our team played like this. This Avs team is like Habs circa 1977.
@@matthewweinberg9842 Ive been watching the whole match replay and it's incredible, they made tampa look like rookies haha
@@PeachRap Same haha! It's amazing. The Lightning made the Rangers look like rookies and the Avalanche are making the Lightning look like they are playing in the AHL. It's really like they are in a different league. Have never seen anything like it.
Rantanen again the best player on the ice, what a post season he's having!
Feels like you can insert any Avs top 12 players' name into this statement amd it would still be valid.
@@haynryan87 there can only be one best player on the ice and thats been rantanen lately but every avs player is on fire atm!
Лавины это просто нечто!!! Браво
Best hockey team in the world.

TAMPA GOALIE WANTS TO BE A FORWARD AGAIN 3X
The over/under for combine goals was 6.
The Avs covered that by themselves.
The most dominant game of hockey I’ve ever seen.
DOMINATION
UNREAL!
Look ma! I found a verified UA-camr!
@@akaashraghunath8677 a damn good one too
Tampa-TAMPAX!
GO AVS GO
This was like a shooting gallery and breakaway practice. Never seen a finals game like this, Tampa better get it together.
Usually this wakes a team up to go home for a win. The Aves look like the greatest team ever right now!
Great job Avs.
I am beyond impressed with Cale Makar. The way he is able to transition from defence to offense and also dictate the play is incredible.
It's like we're watching Hedman pass the torch to him.
@@gdiggedy9 I agree.
Makar is absolutely mind blowing talent. He’s only 23 too he has many many years to grow and develop even more I’m excited to watch him I’ll be following him every season from now on.
As a diehard lightning fan.. I am proud of avalanche for being able to dominate a team like Tampa bay. It was hard to watch, but wow.. just wow
What an Avalanche that came down on Tampa. Luckily for them it's only 1 game at the end. They've just been through this before but the Avs are a whole different animal than the Rangers were.
I’m so excited to see my boys playing at sea level on Monday. Go Avalanche.
Burakovsky has owned Vasy since the 2018 ECF. As a Caps fan, I love seeing Burakovsky flourish.
Avalanche have the depth to win it …. Avs worked for this moment many many years
Super Joe
They've only lost twice this entire postseason. If they sweep the Bolts, they'll set the league record for fewest postseason losses by a Stanley Cup winner, a record currently held by...
Wait for it...
The Colorado Avalanche.
@@MisterVercetti I like the way you think.
Wow Excellence at it's BEST. Just breath taking. Unbelievable.
Absolute dominance. Idk if I’ve ever seen a Stanley cup performance that dominant in a long time.
The Avs are like the Habs of the seventies, every line is a juggernaut, they come in waves, unstoppable.
I love how mackinnons parents sit with Makars parents
“Give them nothing, but take from them everything!” This quote from the movie 300 describes this game so aptly.
Nichushkin is beast!!!
This has got to feel a bit legitimizing for the Oilers- who were widely mocked for their loss to Avs. People trashed Mike Smith, trashed the Oilers overall- but they put up a heck of a fight. The Avs are hungry and relentless!
As a panthers fan, this makes me very happy
Ranger, Panther and Maple Leaf fans - all aboard the Colorado train!
Lol
Truly one of the most dominant Stanley cup performances I’ve ever seen
If someone had told me when the playoffs started that there will be a single game where the opposing team puts the puck 7 times behind the back of Vasy I would have laughed. Let's go Avs 2 more
Still enjoying these highlights
People talk so much about the rangers series and how tampa came back after losing 2 in a row but this series is SO much different than the rangers series. The avalanche and the rangers are very different teams. Vasilevsky got his bell rung tonight. To be honest, I would not be surprised to see the Avs win in 5 or 6.
EXACTLY! We aren't the Rangers!
Idk it might be a sweep or atleast 5.
@@northy320 Sweep for sure. Tampa just cannot match this team. In fact no team in the East would have been a match.
Vasil got his bubble burst each time he played the AVS. He is 0-4 or 0-5. Even if the AVs won in season, both teams had teir best roster and yet, the Bolts couldnt make it. This reminds me of Rask who couldnt beat the HABs, never did he.
Avs win in 4 if I'm lucky to go to the game hopefully 5 to win it at home
I asked y'all to kick some lightning ass for this habs fan. So far youve excelled at it. Well done Avs!
I didn’t expect that but it’s still only 1 game. Keep your foot on the gas, boys!
That was the most dominant 60 minutes of hockey I've ever seen, regular season or playoffs
And there was some good saves from goalkeeper, it could be 14:0. What a game!
This Panthers fan congratulates the Tampa Bay Lightning with this historic loss against the Colorado Avalanche.
😂🤣 Love it.
Never thought I see tb get wrecked in the playoffs this yr
What an Avalanche that was. Perfect name for us.
Wow! What a blowout! Looks like Colorado will finally win the cup they deserve! Tampon bay doesn’t need another one
You damn right

No team "deserves" anything! Colorado has to earn it! Only halfway there, lots of work to do! But boy do I like their chances!
@@Discofeeva keane loser baker. I delate no more. Toronto make me laughs sux😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Thanks for Helm. Dude is a beast. He brings that Detroit smash mouth hockey to Colorado and I'm here for it
Holy S&>t Helm has been a goddamned HORSE
As an Avs fan, Detroit and Colorado is the best rivalry in all of sports and it’s almost poetic to see helm doing it for us. Claude Lemeuix started the greatest rivalry ever, those were some amazing series in the 90s and early 2000s
This Avs fan from the battle era has made friends and shared snipes with some of the nicest Red Wings fans over the years. We'll take care of Darren Helm, promise.
Hatchet Buried, Long Live King Helm
The deepest team I've seen.
That forecheck though. Hungry.
It should be 10-0, What a game !!!!
Okay English speaker here... what did the translator do when you say rolled out like kittens
Это всего лишь вторая игра вся интрига впереди
That is as close to a perfect game as you can come!!! Go Avs!
Y’all cover the game so much better than ESPN. It feels like they don’t love the sport like y’all.
know what makes this even more impressive?
Missing 2nd line center and all star Nazem Kadri. And missing top 4 dman Sam Girard, who averages 21 minutes a night.
Two key players are missing and they pitch a shutout on practically all accounts. Breathtaking.
Sooooo awesome! Historic playoff run going here.
You know it's bad when a highlights video shows only one team.
Never have I enjoyed a game that much like this one last night.
Holy damn it was incredible how the Avs dominated the game from start to the end. Tampa looked like juniors team
Uhmmm...this was not how I was expecting this game to go. I thought the Avs would win but not like THIS.
T O U C H D O W N
an absolute murder. Tampa had no answer for our depth scoring
@@Devidra48 Might be a sweep for you guys lol, I don't see Tampa containing that speed or depth.
1:26: That five man rush from the D zone through the neutral zone to the net was just astonishing.
Bro if you rewatch it a bunch it gets scarier every time
The best part though is the rush is led by Mason. A defenseman....
That's called full team effort and commitment.
Similarly you'll see moments where a man who's crashing the net or first in the corner will peel off to the point meanwhile one of colorado's defensmen will drop down slightly creating an umbrella-type offense which they can break out even on a 5-on-5
One game atta time fellas...
Let's Go Avalanche!!!
WOO WOO!!!
WOOP WOOP
This was just nasty from Avs. Such domination is rarely seen specially in finals. A massive shotout win let's go Avs bring the cup back to Colorado.
The 96 team won game 2 against the panthers 8-1
@@kyledavidson8712 Yup i know. It's just rare to see such domination in finals. And if it comes from the team you support it's just so nice and sweet.
Makar for Conn Smyth looks like it's locked in. And think, he isn't near his prime yet.
Tampa-TAMPAX!
Pretty good team. Been a fan since they moved to Denver in 95. Have never seen them this complete since the cap started. All credit to Bednar he's been the change imho
They were down 2-0 to the Rangers and found a way to win..This is a different 2-0 deficit..They’ll be lucky if this ends 4-2
@@raidersacdc4892 yea but no offense the Rangers are nowhere near as good as the Avs
Just remember that Cooper said the Avs can't keep up this pace.....
I think he's referring to the pace they have been playing at for the past 16 games but I'm not sure.
Wow!!! Colorado destroys Tampa Bay 7-0!!! I really enjoyed watching this match, thank you Colorado!
Up 2-0 in the series, but do not underestimate the capacity of the Lightning to come back in games 3 & 4 in Tampa Bay. In the first round, in game #3, Toronto beat the Lightning in Tampa in a close one. But then Tampa came back with vengeance in game #4 to win 7-3 !
Tampa- It’s fine, Colorado has a strict goal limit.
Colorado- *Turns off limit*
Tampa- Oh fu-
