@@arkenvehicles Great product, Sir. Just FYI, I looked at your website and did not see Silver Flare as one of your colors. It certainly may have been an oversight on my part.
@@doughooks7411 Hi Doug, thanks for the comments!! For silver flare, you’ll need to select additional color and add it in the notes section of the order, please double check the “color availability” section on the product page for full detail. Thanks again!
I have one comment about Mr. Arken's product. OUTSTANDING! I think he's a genius. I wish he'd come up with some items for the older generations. But obviously it's all about the C8's now. Loved your intro Mike. Hollywood wouldn't be able to do any better. Ssve the Wave.
I like the sleek look of the product design on the red C8 Stingray. It´s a good mix, not as aggressive as the Z06 and not as bulky as the stock model C8. I can see the heftier design lines of the stock model might be a positive for darker colors, but with the bold contrasting colors, the red C8 is a much more polished look. I think it works as a custom transitional design toward the Z06. Smart design too, making it reversible without potential damage to the original body. My complements to the Arken Vehicles designer! It is definitely an upgrade for my vehicle. I´m all in!
I wish the would’ve included a third color matching strip to go across the bottom and connect the two pieces, that would’ve tied it all together and made it look much more like a z06/eRay front bumper.
Thank you for the input man! We chose to go with a design that reflects the C8.R and z06 gt3r, those particular models have a true inspired race design with the we wanted to offer on this product!👍🏼 however, this is an option we’ll consider in the future!
@@arkenvehicles I really like the idea of this, if the fins were slightly taller (up to the black trim piece) and you had a color matched center connector it would look almost identical to a z06/eRay. That would be a much better alternative to buying a new bumper and having to get it painted. Would you be willing to make one as a custom order? If so, I’d love to buy one.
This is a very nice looking product at a great price. The last portion of the video when the three were shown side-by-side would likely make me a buyer if I had a Stingray, and would be a great marketing photo. I much prefer the more aggressive front end look of the Z and E over the Stingray, and this is a very easy and cost effective way to get that similar look. Kudos to that young man for what looks to be a great product, and I wish him much success! Well done! 💪🇺🇸 Edit…I did not see Silver Flare as one of your colors.
The vinyl should have came precut to the exact fitment. No razor should be needed, that’s the only reason why I’m not buying it yet. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next iteration.
It is certainly a different look but it looks nothing like the front of a Z06. Both the original Stingray and Z06 look better to me. No hate though. All these new options allow everyone to customize to their own tastes.
My apologies to anyone who reads this and then cannot unsee a huge problem with the C8 Corvette. Look at your C8 side mirrors. Then, look up any image of the (2024) Corvette Z06 GT3.R racing car which clearly shows the racing side mirrors. Now, look at you regular C8 side mirrors. And, look at the racing mirrors again, with their long, narrow design and extremely straight, angular, outermost vertical edges. Can you see it? The regular C8 mirrors look so stupid compared to the sleek racing mirrors. Big, round, fluffy, boxing-glove size, regular C8 side mirrors. I hate them now. Just spent two or three hours looking up alternative mirror options, but couldn't find anything that will likely work right out of the box. Even though I've got a game plan of what I'm going to order, it is for sure going to require some fabrication work to get what I want. I'll need to take the electrical wiring and other guts out of my stock C8 retractable mirrors and somehow rig everything so that I can install the OEM internal electrical parts and retraction motors into the modified/custom side mirror carbon fiber casings.
I REALLY like this idea. However, I do have 1 criticism. While I would still buy it if I had a C8 because it is an improvement (I was about to get one till transmission reports have made me reconsider or hold off), I'm puzzled why these deflectors aren't closer to the ZO6 or the C8R GT. This is the one observation that keeps me from being completely satisfied. If he can revise it closer to the C8R GT deflectors, this would be one of the first changes I would make to my future stingray, because the only options I'm more satisfied with are very expensive widebody kits that can cost half the price of a new car after the extra costs of paint and installation with proper panel gaps. 😮 If this design can be revised, I would seriously be taking the c8 into further consideration.
I think I forgot to mention that all I would change about these fantastic pieces is to just simply make those sort of triangle points taller to meet the body line where grille fins meet the fascia, like it does on the ZO6. I think this change would make this look 10/10, especially with the 5vm front lip. Literally just make those triangle points taller without changing anything else about them, and I think you will really have something here.
David, thanks for the valuable input!! To your point about the design of the triangular portions, there are geometry limitations when it comes to the original stingray front facia that make taller triangles geometrically impossible, especially when you study the 3D model. An exact replica of the Z06 front facia is geometrically impossible for a product like this one, as it happens. I love everything you mentioned in your comment because those were all design factors that we tested, iterated, and tried during the process! And we came out with the geometrically sound product we could!! Thanks again! We think our design will grow on people over time for sure!
@@arkenvehicles I actually wasn't thinking exactly replicating what the Z06 has because I can see where the lines are different. I just meant the design leaves me wanting your exact design as is, only just a little more pronounced. It's perfect as is, except for being more subtle.
Not for me i think the bumper cover they make to look like Z06 would be a choice for me or bite the bullet and get a Real Z06.I think in the long run you wished you bought the real Z06 it's not that much more. And when it's time to trade in, the modes always lose the car's value. Wish him luck
Thanks for your input man! We hope you’ll continue to see new angles/content in general from the product in the future! The more you see of it, the more you might grow to like it! 👍🏼
Not my cup of tea. But to each his own. I keep looking at the front and can barely tell. Wouldn’t it make more sense just to wrap the stock front bumper (colored) edges in black for 10$ and it would look nearly identical?
Thanks for your input pculton4! The look is definitely brand new and we think it has huge potential to grow on people over time the more is seen of the product and the more it gets out there! To your point about wrapping, a wrapping option would lose functionality of airflow that the product offers! We hope you continue to consider it in the future! 😀
Double-sided tape? Like the look, but double-sided tape? Sorry, can't go there. I drive and I'm guessing with various railroad tracks, bumps, etc. littering the U.S., those pieces are going to shake / rattle off not too long after they're installed.
In what world do you think this makes the front end look like anything like a Z06.?I have a special ordered Z06 with exterior black trim is body colored, and the difference shows up much more Than a standard Z06 and this isn’t even close. While I applaud the creator for his work done to make this it is nowhere worth $400 for what little it does. Save A few more dollars and if you really want the look of a Z06 buy an aftermarket Z06 conversion bumper instead of using a painted piece of trim and vinyl tape. Also, who are you trying to fool. Who are you trying to impress? If you didn’t buy a Z06 because you couldn’t afford a Z06 there’s no shame in that. And that’s why Corvettes are so popular because most anyone can afford one. This is a sad commentary, and about as effective as putting a potato in the crotch of your pants to impress people.
JS-qw8hy, The purpose of the product is not to copy or replicate the Z06 identically. We wanted to offer a new design that has its own look and character, it’s a new iteration of Stingray design, which implements the airflow function of higher trim front facias, this product merely takes inspiration from z06 / c8r. While we understand that the z06 is an amazing car, we know that owners love to customize their Stingrays, and we think this is an awesome option for someone who wants a new but conservative design that retains Stingray body language, and lets their stingray stand out from others. Not an identical replica.
Thanks Mike! Glad to be a part of this!

Wow, This mod is the most striking I've seen for the C8. Eye popping. I can't wait to get this on mine.
