Anthem of the Seas | Deck 8 | Balcony Stateroom 8580 | In-depth Room Tour | Royal Caribbean

This video will give you an idea on what to expect when you select a balcony stateroom onboard Anthem of the Seas. We initially selected a guaranteed room and we were given a balcony stateroom on deck 6 (obstructed view). It is important to remember that when the prices drop, you "must" get in touch with your travel agents so they can negotiate with Royal Caribbean. In the end, we were upgraded to deck 8, and not only that, we also got a refund because Royal Caribbean does "price guarantee" all the way to the sailing date. If you booked directly with Royal Caribbean, you just simply let them know of the price drop and they will make changes to your invoice, it is that simple.
I would recommend decks 7 - 12. Deck 13 would be directly below the Solarium, Windjammer and pools. There was no UK socket in the room, although, they have USB charging ports. It is important that you have the correct adapter so you can charge your devices without any issues.
