We have been on this ship back in may 2024, and again, 02 Oct 2024, tip, to avoid missing out on events, leave a note for your housekeeper, to give you a printed " Cruise Compass" as for us oldies who dont do that much on our phones, its nice to have a printed copy, just like old newspapers! 270 food is fab, we ate there most lunch times, hotdogs was fun, as watching the bumper cars at the same time, This is a great ship, we were never bored, infact the opposite, had to go back to our room about 1400, for a rest !
Morning guys. I'm really enjoying your "top tips" videos, agree with all your thoughts on Anthem. Are you planning a top tips video pertaining to Virgin Voyages ? I know our thoughts differ, but my tip would be to book another cruise line 😮. LOL, look forward to the debate. Have a great weekend. XX
Hey! Thank you! So glad to hear that! Funnily enough, we will be doing a Virgin Voyages Top Tips video very shortly! Have you sailed with them before? We absolutely LOVE them but at the same time can understand why they are a bit of a marmite cruise line! Haha. x
Great ideas boys! We've just won a 17 night Hawaii to Australia cruise on Anthem Oct 2025 so I was wondering... 🙂 We've been on Quantum and are going on it again Feb 2025 as it's leaving our (Australian) cruise market and being replaced with...Anthem...Oct 2025 🙂Subscribed!

Hi! Thanks for sharing these, very useful as just booked my first cruise. Have one question that I don't seem to find an answer to if you could help out - I understand there's a safe in the room but is it big enough for a laptop and camera or only small items, docs? Is there any way to close bigger items away? Many thanks!
Hello 👋 Thanks for watching 😁 That’s awesome! Where are you sailing to? So in our experience the safes onboard are usually big enough for the essentials, passports, wallets and cameras etc. but not for laptops. What we know some people do is store their laptops and bigger items in there suitcases under the bed. That way they can still be locked. We keep apple tags in our cases so even if it were to go, we can still find it.
Excellent, informative, vlog. We are looking forward to cruising from Southampton to Norway on AOTS in July. We have not been to Norway before but love listening to several of their musicians including Sigrid, Aurora, Moyka and Maud, who write and produce their own songs and promotional videos, many of which beautifully show the beauty of Norway 🇳🇴🛳️⚓️
Hi, do we able to obtain the program in advance - Eg. the day of formal dress night - so we can book the chef table? Also the iFly / North Star free sections, can we book in prior to the cruise or ONLY available on the day?
So sorry for the delay, for some reason UA-cam held the comment for review 😵💫 The free sections can only be booked once on board sadly. In terms of the formal nights, they usually show them within the app itself so you can see it there but they don’t sent the horizon schedules out before the evening before.
Do you really need to bring a carryon for the morning of debarking (if says they collect luggage the night before) if you're not going to the airport? Just curious!
Hey! You don’t have to have carry on for disembarkation but if you do leave your luggage outside your room the night before, you’ll probably have clothes from the night before, toiletries, plug converters, that kind of thing in your cabin so it’s worth having a carry on case even if just for the bits and bobs you find on the morning on disembarkation. 🙂

Haha, that’ll be our dogs… 🐶 🐶 we’ve opted for a new microphone actually so hoping it reduces the sound a bit 😅

She was bless her. Our new microphone arrived yesterday though so hopefully it won’t be picked up next time 🙄😅🐶
@@GetLostWithBenAndGareth we had your video playing on the tv and we thought it was our dog in the background for the first 5min 🤣🤣
😂 that’s hilarious 😂😂 I’ll never understand how they can make so much sound while sleeping. They’ve woken us up before and sleep downstairs 😴😱😂
