TACKLESHARE PROGRAM
TackleShare is a program run by the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) since 1998. With the help from Ontario Power Generation as our title sponsor, we are proud to deliver this important program that encourages fishing as a fun, family activity that can be done anywhere in Ontario.
Wherever you fish, remember to follow signs and “Stay Clear, Stay Safe” as water near dams and hydro stations can turn dangerous in a heartbeat.

Thanks for sharing. Some good information for those in the area. Appreciate what you do! As always, TackleShare rocks!!!
Thanks for watching!
Great job in highlighting the wonderful options for the GTA angler. Keep fighting
the good fight.
can you check out old mill bridge, and boyd parking area, where the humber river passes through
This river isn’t even close to the fishery is was, the numbers have dropped by 50%, yet it’s busy as always. It’s sad to see the decline of the credit. I’ve fished it 12 years now and it’s just getting worse due to spot burning from social media.
Which point is best for fishing in Mississauga or near
What bait should I use I don’t fly fish
Worms on a hook a really hard to beat, it's typically the best to use when trying to fish a new location.
Catch and release? or can bring them home
For any waterbody you are curious about if you can keep your catch, you can refer to:
1. the Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary (www.ontario.ca/document/ontario-fishing-regulations-summary) for licensing, slot sizes, and available seasons for each species and
2. the Guide to Eating Ontario Fish (www.ontario.ca/page/guide-eating-ontario-fish) for consumption guidelines
did you get anything from there at this time? 🙄 that place is known for salmon, trout and suckers only and none of them will be there at this time until September. 🙄
We didn't get much, but this was one of many stops we mad that day so we only fishing at each spot for 5-10 minutes. We would highlight this location for fall salmon fishing for sure.
