yes lee mujin is a pretty active singer songwriter, and he has a number of albums and singles. all the (g)i-dle members have been on his show except for shuhua, minnie and miyeon multiple times. i think you'd love all their episodes, since the show focuses pretty heavily on singing performances. i'd also recommend the 100th episode, which is a special with 3 guests including minnie, and collaborations between the guests as well as with the host.
I agree with Carrie. I do think Miyeon often gets overlooked as a vocalist by a lot of people. Maybe it's because Minnie has a unique voice, or perhaps people are too busy praising Miyeon's visuals to notice that she can sing, but she's very underrated. And to be honest, I don't think she's shown us everything she's got yet. It always feels like she's holding back, even on her solo album. Soyeon herself says Miyeon is the best singer on recording days, that she's always reliable, and she likes to gives Miyeon the heavy parts in (G)I-DLE's songs because her voice is strong and steady. We've seen Miyeon cut loose somewhat a few times on Masked Singer, and a few OSTs, so I think whenever she gets a chance to cover songs by big vocalists, she's dead on. If anyone doubts her skills, they should check out her covers on Lee Mujin's Service. A stand out cover she did was Taeyeon's "To: X". I think I saw her do it twice, once with Taeyeon herself. As for the album, I think "Te Amo" probably is my favorite song, although I love Drive and Rose as well. I just think "Te Amo" allows Miyeon to stretch her vocals a bit more. Had it a bit more production it probably could have been the title. Sort off topic, my shuffle played IU's "Love Wins All", Young K's "Nothing But", then finished me off with Miyeon's "Te Amo". It was like it set me up to be sobbing.
Te Amo is really good. IMO it could have been the title track but still glad they promoted it as a b-side. I need 1. another album from Miyeon, 2. More ballads, 3. More song writing from her, 4. More Cho B Di as well
@@KPOPCarrie I think Miyeon is a bit more confident in writing now, so I'm sure we'll get more. I think Yuqi and Minnie have made it their life's mission to help Miyeon be a writer. Now if only Shuhua could get some writing credits. I know it can't be easy writing in a foreign language, but it'd be nice if she could get some royalties like the others are getting.
I love Miyeon so much, she's my bias,I love her album so much, her voice is so angelic
Her voice really was angelic on this album and I love it

I want to react to his show, I will admit that I have watched the 100th episode. Didn't know it was a show show and clicked on it and got sucked in.
