    nice video.. am only harvesting water from roofs during rainny season which means investing in tanks and underground water tanks

    Congrats on your move and your channel. It is wonderful to see what you have accomplished on your farm. I hope many returnees learn from you, A generator can't be efficient. Renewable energy, hydro or solar is your best option. There are 3 phase solar equipment available in Ghana. I wish you continued success.

    Lovely! I dug a shallow (hand dug) well that had minimal water. It dried up as you say during the dry season! Hired the digger to deepen it. He started and then disappeared when he encountered rock! Hoping to drill a proper borehole with casings and all in the future but it is very expensive here in Kenya (10,000 USD and above)

      Am from Kenya too.I encountered the same problem with the rock too.I seemed local advise from miners and I bought their idea of using dinomite to crack the stone underground.It actually worked and I have never lacked water from my hand dug well.

    They have website shows you under ground water every where and get water map for drilling. Now have machine called atmospheric water generator you buy machine hook up to solar panel and battery! machine make water ever day from air!

    I'm watching this video and its 2yrs old already. Hope you found a solution for the solar batteries. Lithium batteries are the best if you're going that route. Great video ❤

      Lead acid might be cheaper and more robust. They don't get damaged if they are fully discharged and they are not affected by high or low temperatures.
      If you decide on Lithium don't buy the cheap Chinese batteries. They cost more in the long run.

    You dont drill rain water unless there are pockets of rocky cavity to hold it the heat from the sun evaporate rain water
