2018 Review | The Best Worst Year Ever!

- The best worst year ever is a very apt title for 2018! In review, 2018 has been full of so many surprises. It started with the sad news of mums dementia diagnosis, then my own ill health with hypothyroidism and was looking generally bleak. The, suddenly life took an incredible twist and I fell in love with a wonderful man, I came out as gay, I had the final stage of phalloplasty as part of my gender transition, I shared my story of recovering from addiction and mental illness and discovering I am transgender in a media campaign for the Open University and then starred in a channel four advert, and to top it off I ended the year as a self-employed man with my own freelance writing and content creating business!
What an incredible year it has been! Thank you all so much for your endless support and love through all the ups and downs of life. I love sharing life with you and I love the community we have going here!
I simply cannot wait to embark on another fabulous year with you all. There is a vlog to follow about my goals for next year and what I would like us to share together in the coming months.

2018 was quite the roller-coaster for me too. Everything from having to move in a rush to Nova getting fired, was the low bits. The high points being that I was able to get help paying for my schooling and help with accomidations, to starting to take the classes and such to become certified to be foster parents. Just riding that roller-coaster and hang tight through the tough times and enjoy the good ones is all you can really do and makes it easier to make it through the hard times and make the good times even more worth treasuring. (long story) ya, 2018 was shit but you push through it and you don't always stay in that bad place.

feeling this up and down of 2018.. think that is life though,, up and down! Had top surgery finally in Jan 18' @ 34 years young. Realised that my blood family was only toxic and cut off contact entirely. Taken huge steps in looking after my mental health - here is to 2019 and my goal of continuing to look after my mental health, obtaining a healthy weight via healthy eating and finally focusing on my art. Best to you Fin and your significant others. Keep up all the positive steps. x
