Can you imagine how ridiculously amazing a game like this or Split/Second would look like on the PS5? If only...
This game was godlike, i was lucky enough to get this video to pop up in my recommended. I used to play this so much and i even was able to play online before the servers shutdown. I sometimes go back to my ps3 to replay the story and play some offline races when im feeling nostalgia from playing this game. Props for you and everyone who still posts and cares about these series! Let’s hope PSOne folks recreate online servers for this game as well!

OMG, this brings back memories. MoterStorm is the first race game that I ever played. And whenever I play that game, either my brother or my dad would race with me. I realize that I played all three games, and had a ton of fun. It's just really sad at the memories fade from the rest of my family, and the only one that remembers.

@@RonnieRjbj Evolution Studios, devs of Motorstorm series and DriveClub, were closed in 2016. And nowadays, when typical Sony games are generic 3rd person action, I don't think they will revive MotorStorm.

I can cry thinking back to the good ol days when me and my friends used to play this on a home theater setup and we LOVED it so much
I remember knowing about this game back at Playstation Home in the Motorstorm space. Now, I'm not a fan of racing games, but this one really caught my attention because of the atmosphere, especially Apocalypse. Just knowing that these lunatics are hosting a racing festival in a soon-to-be destroyed city is something surreal to me.
This game had like every vehicle type. I don’t know what other kind of vehicle they could’ve added.

Love this game with all my heart
This was one one of my favorite racing games I've ever played. It kept the same gameplay style of the previous motorstorm games but amplified it with a more chaotic twist in the racing game.

I remember playing this game with my dad or my brother when i was young... Man best memories ever
The effects, the sound design, the graphics, the people running across the track, attacking the soldiers with molotovs while the soldiers advance with tanks and return fire with assault rifles, jets flying overhead, shooting holes in the ground, starting a low-level flight with machine guns, Railroads that derail, skyscrapers that collapse, a tornado that whirls everything around and much more that happens during a lap on a track and you still have a full overview of what's happening, but that the PS3 still displays all this so well with graphics that were far more advanced at the time...that's missing these days.
I'd go as far as to say that the games are really artificially made to look worse, or am I the only one who sometimes thinks "why did that place look so much better graphically than most games today".
To anyone who has never played this, every track feels like a storyline, it's not like a rally game or a nfs circuit race, it's not explainable you have to have driven these tracks a few times in the game to understand what the developers have created. Each track feels like a storyline that you work through from start to finish, the tracks tell the story of the game which many people don't even think about...
This game is badass awesome destruction and the crashes slomos and ragdolls flying is the best!
Looks cool as hell! Never got to play any Motorstorm games, as I went the X360 route with Burnout Revenge and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage.

To me personally Split Second was a better game atleast in a cinematic aspect, it was Hollywood type cinematic, and back then, I loved it. This game reminds me a lot of Split Second.
I think the best solution when doing the night race is to stay in second place and follow the car in first

I never heard of this game in my life until few hours ago made by UA-camrs who review forgotten racing games. And you know why? It's because 2011 earthquake in Japan and SONY being a sensitive coward shutdown this game sales and promotions worldwide. Yeah... it's too offensive for Japanese in that time by why gamers in other countries must suffer for it too?

Given it was made by Evolution Studios and released in 2011, it was most likely a PS3 exclusive. Evolution Studios is one of the 8+ developer studios that Sony shut down prior to or during the PS4 era. Motorstorm Apocalypse was one of their last games, specifically their third last game with Motorstorm RC being second and their final title being the second installment of Driveclub in 2015. They were shut down in 2016.

No bro wtf, it a nuke hit it, the city would’ve been completely destroyed. You still have buildings and no trace of nuclear toxins. Basically they are racing in a city that is going to be hit by a big earthquake. Because of that, buildings are falling over, the ground is cracking and natural disasters appear as well (tornadoes and tsunamis).
@@frosty4059. On top of that, the city is named San Emidius, which is basically copyright neutral San Francisco for all intents and purposes.
