This band has evolved into one of the best genre-crossing groups I've ever listened to. In twenty years I have NEVER seen such a transformation. SO. GOOD.

Been listening to punk since the early 90's, pretty much every band you can think of. But somehow this band evaded me, until now. BLOWN AWAY, always nice to discover these gems later down the line

Of all the Skate punk bands that were popular in the 90s, only one got better with time : Propagandhi.

CarlHH777 I would put Strung Out as well. In my opinion. Transmission Alpha Delta confirms that claim.
Strung Out are stil decent but they're nowhere near Propagandhi imo.
Instrumentaly, Strung Out is way up there, not even an opinion. There's so many good bands also like Bad Religion , their fuckin soon 40 year long quest and all of Graffin's side works like his books are the ultimate punk rock figure, ok my opinion, yah hey!!
Propagandhi is way up there also for their striking stories and the killer rifts 'n beats. Imo.
I agree but in the last decade, Propagandhi have been more creative and been much better musically, imo. Lyrically, Strung Out can't touch Propagandhi.
I'm with you Metal Inc, their political stance being thrown at you in many of their songs is boring now, and childish. Like they are still in college figuring out life. But I still listen and love their music.
To quote sage Bill Stevenson, "best band in the world, there's no better band than them"

The hallmark of greatness is consistent greatness. Prop still on an upward trajectory which is incredible. Most band's catalogs are like a bell curve in quality. Can't wait for the full album. Great tune!

I'm not musically inclined or into music production, can you explain what faders are, please?
I was meaning faders in a broad term....meaning he is amazing as a mixer; not specifically just good at riding faders. But faders are the strips on a mixing console that raise or lower the volume of a sound. So yeah, I was just using faders in place of all things related to mixing. The dude is the king!

It's actually accurate though, he rides real faders on a real fucking analog console, very little editing done, and almost no "in the box" mixing. It takes up a lot more space, and you kinda have to know how to service your own gear (or be rich), but the fact remains, even though plug-ins have gotten exponentially better in the last 10 or so, you still can't quite match the real thing.
That bass line will bring you to your knees. Too good guys, LOVE IT! THANKS!
