I want to echo the thanks to Bart & Paul for walking us through the show. I can only imagine how it might have been had there not been a global pandemic. Definitely a show I will attend some day. Thanks!!
Wow...!!...I wish in my country Singapore 🇸🇬 we have this JoeFest but sadly out Joes community are rather small and it’s awesome to see in the States there are conventions like this held...Awesome!!!
the maurauder inc guys have been around forever. I bought bunch of there weapons about 14 years ago but I sadly dont have anymore stuff from them anymore. they fit really well with vintage joes.
Same here man. Hopefully things don't descend into sheer madness. Worst that could happen is that Funko pops would be the new currency and we would have to put guns on our cars mad Max style. Lol
I love Spero and Marauder's Gun Runners. I have a bunch of the Animal Kingdom guys and some of the MGS 1/18 figures. I need to get some of their 1/12 weapons. I'm with you on the Pops. I don't like statues. Articulation/posing is key for my collection. I wish I could have went to this one. It would be great to talk to Spero and see those upcoming space figures in person. MGS and Valaverse as well. As always, great content and I hope the lockdown ends soon and you guys get a chance to come back to the states for a con. :{J
Thanks Tetsuo, I gotta say this video has rekindled a flame that started with Joecon. I really hope we can make it to one of these. Would be cool to meet you guys and hangout and talk crap about toys. Glad I'm not alone on the Funko vibes lol.
I acquired a version 2 of the 3.75 figure of Sgt. Slaughter with his Triple T Tank yesterday along with 3.75 figures of Leatherneck and General Hawk all from 1986 and I have Sgt. Slaughter in his Triple T Tank with Leatherneck and Beach Head to all whip my Joe's into shape!
That sounds like a lot of fun. those are some cool toys. I also grabbed that Sarge recently and I totally get what the fuss is about. Careful with Leatherneck., I often see him with a broken crotch... Knowing and all that.
@@gijoburg I will but I think he will be fine as long as he stays on one of the side pegs of Sgt. Slaughter's Triple T Tank where I am keeping him with Beach Head on the other side!
I love the Marauder figs and accessories for recreating Joe characters. I've done up a few that I didn't feel Hasbro did well during their 25th - 30th anniversary lines. I've also used them to build Action Force and other characters not released in the US like Quarrel, Glenda, and Manleh, and currently building a Red Shadows team. Taking a break while we're waiting on Maruader's to re-stock this fall.
JoeFest was pretty cool. My girlfriend and I went basically because I wanted to meet Sarge and Bobby. I had good conversations with both, won some cool prizes and made some new friends so overall, mission accomplished. I only bought one figure though while there because a lot of the prices were outrageous for what I was interested in. I had a funny experience where I saw a figure that I was interested in and was pretty sure the price tag said $40 but I wasn't sure if I felt like it was worth it so just to make sure, I asked the vendor what it was and he walks over, looks at it, turns around and says $400. 🤣😂
I have been using some Maureuder Inc bodies to build up my own Joe custom characters, and their female bodies give my joes some diversity. They are just awesome products
I'm so spoilt for choice I have no idea where to start with mine. you should post some of those pics on our official Facebook group. Would love to see em.
I sure hope things get better next year. I want to attend Joefest at some point. Yeah...I feel the same. Funko pops are infesting toy cons now. I hate seeing those things.
Interesting to see how various brands interact with each other 3 3/4 scale wise. This provides great opportunities for customs, expanding the Joeverse, and diorama's. I would love to contribute to a podcast or video on customs. 😎
I agree, and action figures are just getting more awesome. I don't wanna totally hate on the Funko pops. Everybody has thier thing, even if it's not our thing. that said I still love to take a jab at the pops.
I think Bart was a little excited to get everything in the shot. But that's a good critique, will def make the walkthroughs a bit slower for future vids. Thanks for the feedback.
Awesome event. Love the stand with all those G.I.Joe parts🙌👍

We're big fans of Marauder Inc. They make really great stuff. Thier guns have totally changed the game. Always excited to see what they're up to.
God, I hope things get better next year (I have my doubts, but hope springs eternal). I really want to go to Joefest.

Awesome video boys, Yo Joe and THUMBS UP! ;)
I went to a Joe Show in my state yesterday and dumped like $240 on some Adventure Team stuff. Great video!
wow epic! gonna have to put this on the calendar for 2021
Thanks for showing us the MaraudersInc. table. I just ordered a canine companion for my 6" Snake Eyes from them.

Great stuff!!! Wish I could've made it...

GI Joburg for my part, I started with October Guard, and upgrade for a few bodies like Iron Grenadier for example.
Hey a Big thank you to Bart for the footage and interviews making it happen.
Thanks Paul for the commentary.
Yo Joburg
I live in Augusta and would go. The convention is very poorly publicized. I had no clue it was scheduled.
I sure hope things get better next year. I want to attend Joefest at some point.
Yeah...I feel the same. Funko pops are infesting toy cons now. I hate seeing those things.
Hopefully they do. And then we can all hangout at Joefest.
Complex base building systems are on smalljoes.com
I am also sad about not being there for the Sideshow Destro :(
It's definately my sideshow that got away. But I'm hopeful he will join my Baroness on the shelf one day.
those resin guns are mine :)
Interview wasn’t too shabby either. You still hunting for a new career?

Funko pops are so lame compared to a nice sculptured action figure

What were they charging for the Terrordome?
I've been to a few toy shows but never a JoeFest, someday. Really great video!
it would be awesome if we could all make it to joefest next year. Would be great to hang out with you Corbra.
@@gijoburg that would be great!
The camera is moving too fast ,I can't enjoy it.
