Sir Bong!
Pra my mabili kayo ng pagkain.
Thank you @Gadget Addict for making Philippines realize how undisciplined we are. Enforcers can not do this alone. It has to be a collective effort between them and us motorists. Change needs to happen and watching your YT videos hopefully can reach the whole Philippines specially, our "kamote drivers".
Seems like a reasonable truck ban during certain hours, but then again, typical of a lot of Filipino drivers. They don't pay attention to traffic laws or signs. You're doing a good job putting out good information. If only drivers there at least obey traffic laws, congested as it is, the flow of commuters is will be more bearable. Watching from San Diego, California!
Good job gadget addict.... I like you talking too much on your video's, its informative... don't pay too much attention to negative comments, some people are jealous because you speak fluent english.
Im not a fan of all the garbage in the streets, the colorum vehicles, all the vendors blocking everywhere etc. I know there are some nice parts of Pasay, but unfortunately many parts still need a lot of work.
Only in the Philippines!!! No plates no induction sticker. I don't know why LTO can't fix this decade's and decade's of problem. I still see vehicles on the road with signs no plates available, for registration, road test and sometimes for break in. 🤕🤕
That’s what you called no discipline and don’t know about traffic rules..they just drive..for the authority they should put visible signage for all the driver so they can see and more information..
i'm so happy to see the City enforce these regulations. too many people in Manila have this idea that the rules don't apply to them. let them pay for their foolishness !!
I'm not sure about that. Cos many of the drivers said their boss already knows it's not allowed but told them to drive anyway. They made it sound like their boss will cover the ticket.
There are bus lane and mrt 3 from north to south v.v along edsa. Private vehicles can use skyway as well if they want to make their travel more faster from south to north v.v of metro manila.
P2000 is chump change. These trucks are for commercial use. Imagine back in your home country a trucking company being fined the equivalent of $40. The owner would laugh and just adopt it as a business expense right next to coffee for the break room at the office. Unfortunately knowing the dirty business practices of owners in the Philippines they'd find a way to get it out of employees instead for whom P2000 isn't so cheap.
It was advertized all over TV, Radio, Social Media, newspapers. Even the drivers said their bosses know there's a truck ban but told them to drive anyway. It's not about people knowing there's a ban. It's about whether they choose to follow the ban.
People nowadays take things for granted. Many are most likely working in services like BPO, banks, etc. Or even making youtube for income. They do not understand the importance of trucks and its drivers. Trucks and its drivers are probably nuisance to many of you (as can be read in the comments) Note that after the factories that makes goods, they are the next most important step. Without them, how do you think groceries get their supplies. Or how are houses or buildings built without materials. Do you think our country's economy could just rely on services? Yes our roads are narrow and cannot accommodate all types of vehicles. And the remedy is to make the time of trucks on the road shorter and shorter. Trimming the time, without thinking how much time goods need to be unloaded. Without thinking that truck drivers need full concentration and making them work long hours is dangerous. That is why these drivers take their chance (even when not allowed). Until when is this remedy? Companies need to use more trucks bec one truck can only deliver so much in a short time frame. Car owners tend to buy more cars because of number coding. So what is the point to all these rules. Huli ng huli. Wala naman permanenteng solusyon! This is a major problem among law makers. They make remedies. Then after awhile, they forgot to make solution. Thus the remedy then becomes the permanent solution. And sadly, youtubers get lots of content thru these kind of entrapment operation. Yes, these drivers are currently in violation of truck ban ordinance. But they are not criminals. Naisip nyo ba na gaano kahirap trabaho nila compared to youtubing? Naisip nyo ba na bakit tayo may truck ban at maraming bansa wala naman nito. Kung meron man, on certain days or roads lang. Bakit hindi nyo gamitin platform nyo to help find a solution rather than profiting from hard-working employees that fail to follow these "remedy" rules.
They should increase the fine to atleast 25k Pesos. 2k php is too small for them to even flinch. All minimum fine should be 25k for any kind of violation. Lol
@@pnoyworx im afraid you are right. But if they can replicate Valenzuela City with their contact less apprehension and fine them with the proof of cctv videos it would be a better deterrent.
Why truck ban? Why not car ban. To move the economy we need truck that move commodities faster. I think government should priorities the trucking that move the economy. When trucks were allowed to go out its already traffic because their is no carban.
Unfortunately they really cause a lot of traffic, especially when mixed with rush hour traffic. And they have a tendency to stall. If you look through MMDA alerts for EDSA, from.before, you'll see there were trucks breaking down all the time and causing so much mayhem.
@@GadgetAddict it is more terrifying if you don't see vehicle in the road. It means dead economy. One of the causes of traffic is the uneven roads. Roads that are 3 lanes becomes 2 lanes. Its like funnel or embudo. Then rough road that makes vehicle getting slow...
2:26 that is one of the 3 trams created by a jeepney company Sarao Motors. The other 2 can be found in Eastwood City and Intramuros.
Gadget Addict: Let's record the truck drivers breaking the ban!
MOA Tram: I'm just passing by.
Didn't you hear? 4,500 kilos capacity trucks are not covered by the truck ban

Hello from Australia, I find your videos very interesting.
Agree with what you say. Lets Educate the people. salute to you too bro and the enforcers out there
Keep up the good work of educating us. New subscriber here from San Diego, California.
hello Gadget great information for the public, keep up the excellent vlogs
Bong the Eagle Alpha is Kicking A$$ and taking names!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Stay safe and thanks for sharing. Watching you from Las Vegas 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Curious at how effective they are at collecting for these fines and whats the penalty if they dont pay the fine.
Raise the fines. If it doesn't hurt enough, people won't change habits.
00:29 thanks for mentioning MRT, just what I needed.
Keep up the great work. Education is the key.
I love to watch your video buddy. its not boring and always full of info. Thanks you keep it up
nice to see you doing this again sir!! take care always
He is always on the front lines with his officers
Is that Bong?
What if there is a big fire and a big fire truck is required . Will they only get exceptions if there is an emergency?

Alot of E-trikes swerving in that area every night.

Very nice giving vkog on UA-cam, Good morning Gadget Addict
that moa tram doesnt seem to be safe traversing edsa. no doors. no seatbelts
2:43 there is a grade 4 field trip and i like the moa tram
Why are the enforcers not wearing any face shield?? I thought its mandatory?
Raised the fines to 5-7k since that rule has been in effect for years now...
Good job gadget addict.... I like you talking too much on your video's, its informative... don't pay too much attention to negative comments, some people are jealous because you speak fluent english.
The MOA tram is not street legal. It should have been stopped.
1:10 lets say thinking is not his forte.
One solution that might work IMO is increasing the fine. Bigger fine bigger incentive not to break the rules.
Why do you try to stay away from Pasay as much as possible?
Im not a fan of all the garbage in the streets, the colorum vehicles, all the vendors blocking everywhere etc.

May window ang truck ban jan, i think 10am to 5pm pwede dumaan truck jan sa edsa heritage hanggang sa magallanes, papunta osmeña hway yan or slex.
2:30 doesnt that transport belong to USA the MOA

Petroleuom tanker is not included ing truckban in Edsa.
i'm so happy to see the City enforce these regulations. too many people in Manila have this idea that the rules don't apply to them. let them pay for their foolishness !!
Yeah but the problem is the 2000 fine will be shouldered by the driver not the owner/operator!
I'm not sure about that. Cos many of the drivers said their boss already knows it's not allowed but told them to drive anyway. They made it sound like their boss will cover the ticket.
@@GadgetAddict i really hope so cos it will not be fair for the drivers.
They remove the extra back wheel so it will not be considered as a truck.
EDSA should have a car pool lane like in USA. I think this will help traffic flow more smoothly.
There are bus lane and mrt 3 from north to south v.v along edsa. Private vehicles can use skyway as well if they want to make their travel more faster from south to north v.v of metro manila.
I hope the mmda never get tired of enforcing the law. It seems endless w/ some of these drivers not following the law.
Damn, that Tram thing looks hella unsafe. Not saying our jeepneys are any better, but man, how did that thing get approved?
Finds to small for not only trucks but all forms of transport it should be 500,000 for a truck it would soon be sorted slippers should be 5000 peso
They need to put bigger fine to the company and the driver go to school and take class its a privilege to have a license
No plates, spots out of window....you can tell he’s a socially responsible citizen! What’s the betting that ticket doesn’t get paid? 🤣
Ung 4.200 pede b sa edsa

Maybe the owner would deduct the fine from the truck driver's pay
Such a lovely day
The fine is not big enough its a joke to the companies
Typical Filipino........... "walang nanghuhuli, so let's break the law"
Typical human!
2 thousand pesos aint no way they’ll care for that.. too low for truck owners
Kaya pala Col. luma na palang policy kelangan nila un bagong policy hehehe!
Make a right signage....and visible

MMDA now a days lit.
