SUPAH KAWAII makes its semi-annual appearance, this time with X-Legend's latest title, Twin Saga. Now that we've hit open beta, we can delve into this (still unfinished) title and see what the latest offering from Taiwan's weebiest developer has in store.

Finally a serious and un-biased review! Thank you! I really like how you analyzed all the aspects of the game:
By the way, the fact that te game is uncompleated is because they're still translating it for western audiece, the chinese and japanese versions are more advanced in the storyline and for some aspects they're even different (as different classses abilities and different senshis).
Up to today the game has come a long journey, now cap level is at 80 and they added new chapters to the main storyline and new main quests, new dungeons and activities (like monster crusades). Unfortunately tho, the populations is decreasing and that makes PVP and Raids quite hard to happen.
Equally as horrifying, huh. Looking forward to the next episode, mate.

I figure that Aeria thought that people would move onto their next game of the month so quickly that the majority of their players might not even see the broken nature of this one....or, alternatively, might see it, but won't care enough to raise a fuss.

The star stone system is very similar to a secret of mana game on the 3DS.

Huh. Oh, yes. Aura Kingdom. A game that I enjoyed for a few nights after your recommendation, got invited to play another game in co-op with a friend, and consequently forgot about. Your review made it seem like it had promise. *shrugs* Oh well.

Want a better outdated meme? In X-Legend games you have a "greeting" you can send to friends when they get online, and a "victory cry" when you defeat someone in a duel.
The default victory cry that plays if you don't change it? No joke here:

Hello, great video as always, I just wanted to know if you have ever played Mortal Online or Uncharted Waters Online and would you even make reviews of these games
Yeah, it makes me a bit sad to say this, but... As much interest as I had in the likes of Aura Kingdom and love the colorful, chibi art style, I saw no reason to even consider dropping my currently played games and instead using my time on this title. *shrugs* Oh well.
will you choose something special for episode 100?
Kinda disappointed in this one more than Aura Kingdom. At least with that game, it felt different enough, but after Dragomon Hunters, Twin Saga has me not wanting to bother with X-Legend.
It also sucks that the class system of Eden Eternal probably won't make a return in any real way in their next MMO either.
i signed up for close beta when you did the side quest on Twin saga... then i got into it and the story is so confusing and some of the quests you just dont know whats going on because your laughing at what is being said .. and it keep me going and then ... i got a house in the game and yup now i can't stop playing..

Out of all games you've reviewed, which one has the best combat system? I'm thinking about trying out blade and soul.
Probably that or Black Desert.
I'll go with blade and soul then, i don't like some of black desert's mechanics.

@Somebody Else, I wouldn't suggest Blade & Soul unless you're just seriously into the chinese aesthetic. It's outdated and the combat system, especially in pvp is little more than stun spam and nothing else. If you really love the feel and like the flowing combat, then go for it, but if you want any story or community, you won't be finding it.

It resets you to level 1....EVERY TIME? Not like in FF XIV, where you start over at level 1, but level and continue where you left off the next time you switch back?
It's as the leper said to his mistress, "What is the fucking point?!".
pretty sure he messed up his info on this fact, you retain your class level when switching back and forth.

Dr. Pepper grand fantasia used low specs
Dr. Pepper well Project 1999 EQ is free, low specs, and has the tightest community around.
Vanilla wow servers are also good and low.
Lord of the rings online too.

so which X'legend game is best?
Aura Kingdom has a surprisingly deep story, but is entirely P2W. Twin Saga is a less refined AK with 2x the P2W. Grand Fantasia is really fun but feels like the entire game is on rails. Echo of Soul is a poorly made Perfect World clone, with movement-locked casting for even the most mobile classes making it painful to play. The rest of AG is unplayable garbage. Pick your poison.

Totally agree. The times I've invested in one of their games that then got shut down.. I don't care how good a game they release seems, I am staying away from it when it's Aeria that publishes it.

I play AK so Im familiar with the aeria poison, AK is a bad game I know and I love it. its the only game where correct way to play it is to bug it out (jump-cast till you'r dizzy). I just can't get past the visuals off Twin S. Chaos is totaly right its a downgrade from previous titles.

It's honestly depressing when private servers of games have better bot control than official companies. I will NEVER play an aeria game because they're simply incompetent

This sounds to me like the next review is some bottom of the barrel MMO like F.E.A.R. online, Drift City ,and Swordsman online.

Thanks for the review. I can't play this game. The dialogue makes me really uncomfortable. And I usually like roleplaying, but the last thing I'm going to subject my creations to are fat men falling down and shoving their noses into their crotches. What a waste -sigh-

Judging by how he uses the term usually, I think he actually does find it kind of scary.
