11:45 Just to clarify, the cab emulation SHOULD be Disabled if you're going into a real guitar cab, or if you're using a speaker cab IR in a DAW. Leave it On if you're going direct to your DAW without any cab IR. That hissy distortion sound is the same tone you'd get if you ran a Line Out from a normal amp. It's the signal before it gets changed into acoustic sound by the speaker. It's what a physical speaker uses to process into a natural tone.
Yes! Agreed, sorry i forgot to mention this!🤘
Why should that be of, while using a real speaker? It should only work for the di output not the speaker output which makes no sense...
@@tomusic8887
I assume it’s because, just like the guy here is doing, when running DI out to a monitor or powered speaker, wich normally do not contain “guitar cab” frequencies. Im just assuming this is the case.
Okay this comment is confusing people. There is a dedicated 60 watt speaker output on this that will drive an 8 or 16 ohm speaker cab. You can use this at the same time as the speaker emulation going to a pa or daw or whatever. You don't have to have it turned off to use a real cab. I'm assuming what the poster means is that if for some reason the xlr signal went to a real guitar cab then you'd want the emulation turned off but I'm not really sure why you would do that.
@@gabrielstevens41 I don't own this pedal. I just know from past experience with other modellers that you need to turn off cab simulation if going into a real amp or cab or it sounds like shit. If this option is only for the XLR out, then disregard.
Dagan reminds me so much of Phil X, back when he was doing vintage guitar demos. Love how he hears a tone and knows exactly what to play then just go off on a shred lol
Great demo of a seemingly great product 👏🏾👏🏾💯🤘🏾✊🏾
What a blast! Love it dude!
Sounds really good dude!!
Played that bit of Eruption beautifully.
Knew as soon as you played the first chord of Wicked Game you were gonna go into that…!
Sounds killer!
Sounds incredible!!
nothing vs a tube preamp pedal dude
This just made my list!
Actually the best demo of it! Just IMO.
Thanks!
@@PMTVUK I have to thank - Dagan always rocks!
Yeh Boi!
Awesome sounds =)
Dagan > Danish Pete for the heavies in yootube review land for me!
Dagan has his beloved Kramer strapped on so you know the Iron heart is most worthy of this demo!🏆but did watch the full video for the awesome Riffage as always 🤘🎩⚡🦇
Thanks! 🤘

Yes I'm on my lunch break 🤣 awesome pedal amp would go great with my Laney 4x12
I think I need to buy this.
Looks awesome 😅
Sounds great!!! Thinking about one now. By the way, how about some Ratt and more LA Guns mate?
Amazing
This looks perfect! Was considering the Orange stamp or the Nux amp academy but the Orange is a bit under featured and the Nux has too many (plus it’s not an amp). For me, this sits perfectly in the middle, with all the features I need on the front, without any need to plug it into the computer. Can you have the IR on in the DI out but off in the speaker out? IR for front of house and no IR for an on stage amp.
Sounds fantastic - what a time to be a guitarist!! My only thing with these 2 channel pedal amps is they only give 1 tone stack/knobs, I’d like a tone stack for each channel so that you can pull the mids back for clean tones & push them for the gain tone. It’s the only thing that makes me resistant to buying as I bought before & this thing frustrated me so I sold it (was a Victory V4 Sheriff, sounded great on channel 1 but channel 2 needed a change to the lows, mids & highs & couldn’t be used so it became a 1 good channel amp with a 2nd channel I couldn’t use)
Good to know - I was on the edge on buying the Sheriff V4 pedal amp. Would you consider "The Jack" to be the better choice?
@@DizzyKrissi Hey man, I really like the Jack & it’s probably more flexible as a 2 channel preamp, I dunno if they’ve done an updated version that has 2 sets of tone pots but it might be worth checking out the latest versions. I have to say the channel 1 of Sheriff is awesome but I just sold it to get a ToneX pedal to experiment with, hopefully more flexible for my needs but 😂🤚🏼 I do love the Jack & may get one eventually (you know how it is!)
@@planzed.2 : it sounds like you own the preamp without integrated poweramp?. I just took a quick look at the "new" one and it also shares EQ-settings - it's the same for alle the V4 pedalboard-amps. I have not yet seen anyone one YT showing the clean-channel of "The Jack" with higher gain-settings. I prefer slight clean-breakup.
@@DizzyKrissi yea I ran it into a Two Notes Cab M, sounded great & tonnes of options for power amp, cabs & mics… I can’t remember how dirty the Jack clean channel gets if I’m honest, sorry dude
@@planzed.2 : thanks!
Switched to channel 2 and I bought one.
Love the wicked game riff. If you’re gonna demo Laney you’ve gotta play some HIM riffs
LOVE THIS GUY!😅
Yeah... I'm feeling it, as the guy in the cubicle next to me shkuts "oi! Turn that bleedin racket down... i am quietly trying to read the Viz ere, bleedin millenials ! Grr!"
Also as I quietly squeeze one out on my lunch break, where I sit on the lav and eat my ham and egg sandwich quickly as to not over clock and use up all of my 15 mins of me time. Amp in a box... I'M IN a box,
sounds louder in a toilet cubicle btw and rocks yaah!🤙
Ima wait til the special edition comes out that goes to 11.
Dammit, gonna have get the Lynch Mob bug out of my head 😂
Pantera to the Darkness? This guy can do it all 😵💫
I see Dagan likes to partake in a few beverages prior to cutting a demo 😂
I bought this thing. It's bad ass. Remember people. Listen with your ears and not your eyes. Listen how good this thing sounds. Guess what? No Tubes ect. Worth every penny.
Would you recommend this if I'm looking for an industrial metal type sound? Im wanting a rig for like tool, rob zombie, Marilyn Manson, that sort of thing.
@@chrisbusico5059Same here. That’s what lead me here.
Can you use the cab out and the direct out simultaneously?
Holy Crap!
Mad Gassing!
What is that black tele-style beauty hanging in the back?
Wunderin... how many new pedals are released every year?
Seems like there's a new one every single day
I dont think even Josh at JHS can keep up
That sounds like a challenge for Josh?! lol
There are literally a few pedals being released every day. It's like an avalanche.
Ohhhhh….this one’s tasty !
This is one of the demos that is exclusively using the cab emulated output
And the emulation leaves A LOT to be desired.
ok, its 60 watts, but is that in a 4ohm cab? 8 ohm? Will the wattage drop if you put it in different ohm cabs?
No
60w at 8 ohms. I assume it will drop to around 30w at 16 ohms.
It says minimum of 8ohm so it must be 60w at 8ohm, dropping a bit at 16ohm.
Could I put this into the input of a pedal baby power amp? Or is that harmful to the input of the power amp?
Yes but it already has a power amp so not sure why you would.
🤟🏽
Can this go directly into a DAW or does it need an interface? The marketing has been a bit confusing on that.
You plug this amp into your interface via the XLR out. It is not an Audio interface in its own right
@@LeeWrathe
Okay thanks. Some reviews have been saying you can plug it directly into a DAW but they seem to be incorrect.
@@mr.d.572 Hello! With the built in cab simulation via xlr, when they say you can plug straight into your daw they mean when you have your pedal connected via xlr out to the input of the interface, then through your software[daw] you will have a ready to go amp+cab emulated sound. Hope this helps.
Not an audio interface just an DI out. Some of the other iron heart products have a USB interface built in, but not this.
the lack of tube is impressive in the pedal
Not impressive.
I find the lack of tube disturbing.
Tubes suck, transistors are where it's at 🤘
@@iloveitall now there's two of them!
reverb would be nice
no tube
i prefer Blackstar or the old model
Sounds like an amp that comes in a starter kit.
😅
How do you figure that?
I find the secret is to run a compressor into the pedal.
This thing makes no sense considering they could have come up with a new IRT Pulse.
Pity it hasn't got a tube in the preamp section 😢
2x12ax7
@@svenzia it has 2 12ax7's in the preamp... really?
@@amercieca it should ☺
Aha you only want 1 preamp tube? Scandal imo.
@@amercieca i will write a complain letter to the United nations about you. We real players need at least 2 preamp tubes. 3 even better though. Hurraaa!
Unfortunately, Laney missed the boat for me by not adding reverb. Would have been perfect as I miss the tone of my IRT30. Maybe version 2, Laney?
