If I took a shot for each time I’ve said, “that’s a great idea. She thinks of everything” I’d have had significantly more shots than I’m comfortable with having.
Haha 😂 I honestly *should* take more screenshots of things I find interesting or useful 😝 And of course, then label the files appropriately so I can find them again later 😅
Is there a video of you actually making these pages? This is so inspiring and absolutely stunning to look at! I'm about to start my first reading journal and yours is perfection!
EEEEKKK!! I love when two of my favorites cross over. I watch Sarra Cannon vids too for my writing and to see her books on your list made me so happy! Now to finally stat working on my reading journal. I'm already finished three books lol.
Beautiful journal layout, I've decided to start a reading journal this year(never had one before) and am very excited to be filling it out this year. For my tbrs I've been reading a series called Belladonna by Adalyn Grace and I'm starting the 3rd book in 2025(just how it worked out 😂) but I'm also excited for the novella coming out in October this year. If you haven't read I highly recommend.
I’m still using my reading journal from last year for 2025 (I’m allergic to leaving a journal with unused pages 😂), but I’m definitely using your rating system for my next journal! I’ve always been too intimidated to try out the CAWPILE system, especially because my ratings are so heavily influenced by my enjoyment, but I like how simple yours is 😊 Happy new year! 💜
Started reading "pride and prejudice" for the first time. And since I'm doing it on my iPad, I got the idea to make little Notes in the Notes app as I go. That way I don't get too lost in the language and I can pick up where I left off if I go a couple days without reading. It's been enjoyable so far and most likely I'll cap it all off with the Colin Firth version. I saw that once years ago so it'll be cool to revisit now that I have a better understanding of the story. So I guess in a way, my iPad will be my reading journal where I keep track of notes but also books I want to borrow since I want to restrict my downloads to the books I can get free with the app.
Hello, I was wondering have you ever considered doing a video on how to actually use the items that come in the Archer and Olive subscription boxes? I have quite a few and I realized most of the time I’m at a loss on how to use all the items and would love some ideas. Thanks! I love your videos.
Yoy seem to read quite a bit of fantasy romance so if you end up liking T. Kingfisher's writing then I'd suggest looking into her fantasy romance series World of the White Rat, starting either with Clockwork Boys or Paladin's Grace
Never thought of adding in a Movies and TV Shows tracker, i typically add those into my main bujo. But your way makes sense, since most movies and tv shows are inspired by books nowadays.
the year of goober is such a fun reading challenge and i’m so excited to participate! i have a stretch goal to tick off both prompts each month so i have a huge “bookquet” 🤪
Have you and Vogel played 'It Takes Two'?? It's by the same folks who made 'Split Fiction' (we're super hyped about that one coming out), but it's a super fun one. I think you two would enjoy :)
I made a series tracker to prep for reading this year and I'm in the middle of 53 series 😬 definitely making it a priority this year to finish some of those up
Daaang! I admittedly thought I had more that I was in the middle of 😝 But once I took out some of the ones that I wasn't suuuper interested in continuing, that cut my list down decently 👌 Wishing you the best for your completion quest 💪
@@JashiiCorrin Yeah the first two were short though, I really hate counting tiny books, but they were for Bookopoly prompts so what can you do? But hopefully the reading will stay high for the year!
Nettle a Bone is so good. It reads like a dark fairy tale more than horror. Haunting Adeline is very dark, especially book 2. Check triggers before reading. I was told the main character is like a darker batman which is why I bought it. lol. Twist my arm for anything batman related.
I just started working on my first reading Journal and have done first pages, like my reading tracker, as well as a cross stitching tracker and a bookshelf, dates of when books will come out, but as I was going to make some Dutch doors to make monthly review pages I have found my bots are not all the same on the pages, I guess that's my fault for getting a cheap notebook lol, am tempted to by a new one and get a better on but I feel bad for all the stickers I bought and have put down so am going to stick with it but I think I may get a new one halfway into the year, and copy stuff over,
The markon is also my favorite pen, behind G2 it's the only pen I've ever run out of. My local stationary store stopped carrying it though so I did my journal planning with the uniball one. Had to sacrifice several pages after learning how bad it smears lol.
maybe you can add mini index's in each monthly section and add the mini index page to the main index section? Still going with your combining idea, but still having an index for the month?
I love these ideas, but honestly I'll be contented just to organize my to-be-read book piles so I can make some choices based on books I already own. That'll give me some extra brain space to strategize about managing my used book purchasing impulses. :) Since this year, I'm all about identifying realistic goals, defining useful action steps and "Just getting on with it", I'm reasonably certain I can make a dent in this specific goal today. I enjoy playing with my books so it doesn't count as a chore, so much the better.
Thank you. It was really interesting. I was looking for ideas how to track my reading in the new year and it was exactly what I wanted. One question: how are you writing those beautiful headings? Does it have some cliche or is it all hand written?
Those are printed on washi sticker paper and stuck in 💪 The font is called Chomsky 😄 Unless you're talking about my hand-written headings which is just my own lettering, inspired by a font called "Australia Script"
Happy New Year😁It's Jan 1st and I'm actually reading today. I started 'Assistant to the Villain' before NY, which I was afraid to pick up tbh. Only because several reviewers had something to say about it. But I'm actually having fun? I can understand the concern of some people, but it isn't as bad as some say. No spoilers, one should read it more like a fantasy+comedy movie with a bit of romance (it will be slow). It's a bit ridiculous and unserious.
I don't read. I watched all of 2 movies and 1 series last year. And I'm mostly playing 1 game. Though I did finish 4 other games. Soooo making a full journal for it seems a bit excessive 😂 on the other hand I don't keep up with the spreads I have in my multi year journal either 😂😂
I haven't used an archer and olive before. Are you able to tell me what the paper is like? Does it have like texture or is it like flat and smooth like say notebook therapy? (Not sure how to explain the difference)
Love your videos! What own dud you mention in the beginning that you used to write your name? Dud you say: Zebra Sarasa Micron? Which pen exactly were you referring to? THANKS SO MUCH!
I downloaded Goodreads after watching this video and I didn’t like it, the book I’m currently reading and the one I just finished couldn’t be found so I deleted it

@@JashiiCorrin Is it bad or just very American that I thought the original comment meant alcohol shots?👀
@@charitylady7389 Im european and I thought she meant alcohol as well. But I don't drink, so you're good, probably.
@@charitylady7389 I absolutely meant likka shots 😝😝
The aesthetic of this journal is immaculate.

I'd check her page, I think she make a video where she made these pages bur if not this one then I know there's other reading journal ones

Watching this scratches the organization drawer in my noggin. So cool!
So fun to start populating the new spreads! Did some screenshots for my 2026 journal ideas 😂💗
Happy New Years Everyone!! ⭐️

Nettle & Bone is so good! It got me hooked on T. Kingfisher's books!
Oh excellent! Looking forward to it 😄
cool idea to color in with the monthly color...since I have just a shelfie in my regular bujo, I think this will work well for me too :)
Oh nice! 😄 I figured it'd give me a good at-a-glance look of when I did most of my reading 💪
Happy New Year❤️

Nettle and Bone is *fantastic* I think it hit my top 5 of last year.

What font style did you use? Did you hand write them or print them out? Beautiful setup!
The main headers are a font called "Chomsky" which I printed on washi sticker paper 😄
@ thank you! I’m still very new to bullet journaling and my handwriting is not the best. I will definitely look into the washi sticker paper!

Put them in the cupboard for future reference 😊 But that's mainly because I run this channel 😛

I am also going to include jigsaw puzzle. With pictures . Do 1000 piece or more a month. Something else thar I am doing besides reading.
Do the bbbc and the year of goober go together? Or is that a coincidence for january?
Just a coincidence for January! People are more than welcome to use the BBBC books for the challenge where they fit though! 💜

"What even the f*ck?" 😂 For those quite bad books 😝
@JashiiCorrin oh... 🤣 I thought it was a terrible series you had read. Thank you for clarifying.

Trust me when i say Jash will definetely get rid of the new journal right after 3 years or soo😂
Which one am I getting rid of? 😯 I would never!
my journal is always crooked when i work
It's just more comfy that way, right? 😝
exactly, i don't know why it is but i've done it for as long as i remember 😅
