Phasing hell for you this year that's for sure & that 55k Aron in the Zone lmao. Some great finds this year though like Groudon in 29 SRs, the Zweilous redemption and of course the best of them all, Lapras. Congrats :)
Some brutal hunts in this, but congrats on you shinies! They look so vibrant in the gen 5 artstyle, it makes me want to do some hunting myself, esp for the shiny koffing that died when I encountered it on a casual playthrough 10 years ago
Gen 5 is very underrated imo in shiny hunting. The games got so many Pokemon to hunt that still surprises me at times to discover. Good luck on the Koffing hopefully it will come soon to give you the gen 5 adventure asap.

This may be late but, how do you stay motivated? As soon as one of my hunts go over odds by a lot I just hunt something else, and I can’t watch shows/movies cause to do that I need to give my undivided attention to the movie
It's okay, I'm also getting unmotivated on over odds hunts sometimes. But, I keep in my mind one thing on it, that if I keep going I will eventually find a shiny. It's a good mindset that helped me keep going on many of my over odds hunts and long phases. And watching shows and movies is greater to help you get reflexes developed in order to multitask better while hunting.
It sure is. But most of them were during Safari Week so it didn't mind me much to see them flee as the whole point of the event was to just find shinies casually. Since there are a lot of participants who also get unlucky with the flees. I suggest taking part in this year's Safari Week!
A good rule of shiny hunting: PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE ENCOUNTER! Lol, I've lost a shiny Treeko to falling into a rhythm and not paying attention. Glad you were able to reclaim it, same as me, but man did your game punish you lmao!
This video was so inspiring to watch, i think i will try to do the same this year and spend time hunting shinys, i think i got 50 shinys cross all my games from oras to x and y to sword and scarlett 🙂 but i wanna do some black and white this year and soul silver and maybe diamond and pearl 🙂 happy this video popped up

@@NoT360Ollz no you are fine. Masuda Method is working properly as long as both parents come from different languages. It's still luck dependent, you just have to keep on going until the shiny hatches.

I catch individual smearagles and edit them on PKHex. I really don't care on those stuff because in the end I only care to be able to set up on hunts for legendaries since they have a low catch rate.
Ah! Look on Serebii to see what is available. I recommend for hunters who try to get into gen 5 hunts is to start to do dark grass hunts right off the bat! Dark grass has the chance for a double battle and that's the reason I recommend it for starting off. Virbank Complex Inside got good dark grass Pokemon like Growlithe and Magnemite and depending on the game version, Elekid/Magby
IDK why but i feel i would make a bad reaction shiny hunter. I shiny hunted for a shiny snivy for my all shiny save and it took me 200 hours to get it and i barely screamed or got loud. I was just happy but quiet 💀
What if I told you there are shiny hunters on UA-cam that do just that? Many hunters I know have calm and quiet reactions! I enjoy every reaction, quiet or load, on point or delayed.
I started buying them long before the inflation happened. Some were eBay bought, FaceBook marketplace, friends sold me their games/gave them away. Some even bought from someone I met via discord and they exported them to me. The prices are very high and I don't have any hope for any to be going down in the future. Now you need luck to finding reasonable prices. Good luck 🍀

You realize fun is subjective right? Just cause this may seem boring to you doesn’t reflect on everyone else, there is a whole community out there for shiny hunting. And that fresh wave of dopamine that you feel when you find one is unlike anything else so naturally people want to feel it again, yeah its not for everyone but its not for no one.

I will never understand people who shiny hunt full odds on purpose or people that hunt in the safari, just makes 0 sense to me
Hunting full odds is very unique, and safari shinies are for the risk of losing it
