My friend at school, when pokemon Pearl and dimon came out he was trying to troll me and told me that if i reset the game 100 times when I encounter the box legendary I could get it's shiny form. To his surprise, i got shiny dialga after 80 something resets lol

Glad you're enjoying the videos! I don't actually use emulators (with that gengar hunt being an exception because of limited time) My setup is currently entirely made up of DS Phats with capture card and controller mod and I play physical cartridges! however yea I do copy Save files to save me some time playing through a bunch of times but I don't copy shinies (with the Leaf green DTQ as an exception aswell which are temporary copies, at the end i only keep one of each)
Playing a game upwards of 4 times just to set up for a shiny hunt is mad. Using the same file honestly saves so much time, and makes it better if you’re trying to have every shiny on the same OT#.

For safari zone the math is done that anything DS or older there is no statistical difference for most pokemon on if you throw a bait ball or mud so it’s best to just throw balls in pretty sure

In saphire zigzagoon before getting pokeballs and a gloom that ran away in the zafarizone
In leaf green chansy ran away after one pokeball 😅

My rayquaza took 12,790 resets in BDSP. That was a painful one, but black snek is just so cool. Didn’t give up, wanted to, couldn’t though, glad I didn’t.

I will never do safari hunts. When I work hard to find a shiny, it shouldn't have such a high chance to flee.
In BDSP, I found a shiny Wooper on my first time being in the safari park. It let me throw 3 balls and ran. A few encounters later, I encountered another. I thought this was my glorious instant reclaim. But, no. It ran after the first ball. The only reason I will return to BDSP Safari Park is to reclaim those 2 shinies. And that will not happen soon.
I personally like the added danger of safari hunting! however I get what you mean! it can be scary and its not for everyone!
@Fubuki990 I get it. It just seems way too unfair. I've seen people, including you, go from 2k encounters to 10k encounters in between shinies, and then they lose it 7 times out of 10.

How do you hunt on 16 at the same time? Is it emulators on the pc?
At the time i was using my 4 DS with capture card and controller mod along with 12 emulators, dont think I'll ever go back to that cuz it felt a little overkill for me. I just had limited time for that hunt for an event at the time and wanted to give myself a better chance (Still didn't get it though lmao)

Even though It wont effect me at all because I never transfer my shinies up I do recognise its going to be really unfortunate for a lot of people who do. They're burning the bridge between 3DS and Switch and I feel like they should've come up with an alternative. But thats Nintendo/Gamefreak for ya
how do you have 4 shiny ivysuar if you only showed one
I was playing with the same save file on 4 cartridges but at the end of that DTQ kept only 1 of each shiny so they were temporary duplicates
Nice video, but the amount of shiny hunters that are loud and yell "no way"... is pretty cringe, you are literally looking and resetting for that shiny... so it's happening at some point.. so... yeah... "no way" is not really the line to go with xD
I get what you're saying. However, we usually say that when we either get something super quick when we expected to hunt for a long time or it's because we have been hunting something for a long time and can't believe it's over. It's just disbelief an genuine surprise so it's a logical response to say something like "No way"
