Saw his post about the strength he carries. Breaking all stereotypes of "skinny runners in order to run fast" Love it! Gives me the motivation to continue hitting the gym. Keep the content flowing! Would love a OAC edition.
That takes me back some decades ago when I was training on my old high school track before going to an Olympics, and some of the old ladies walking on the outside lanes thought I should slow down. One of them yelled to me, "You're going to die!"
So great to see paul chelimo (5k track), jake riley(42k long distance) and Morgan Pearson (10k triathlet) different running forms at nearly the same pace (2:45) in the context that they comming from total different racedistances...paul is a litte bit bored, jake stuggle a litte bit, morgan is on point.
That's insane. I did 5× 1 km repeats at 5 :50 per mile and thought I did well. To make matters worse I'm 46 so I'll probably never get close to that amazing.
This is what people don't see. They imagine Olympic level athletes training on the best tracks in the world when it's not always like that. Some people just go out and train and random spots like this. I wish he'd come do mile repeats in my neighborhood
Funny that on Sweat Elite pure runner videos, the coaches are all riding beat up mountain bikes. On the Triathletes training video the coach is riding a top quality road bike. Triathletes gotta have the gear :)
I’m doing 5 miles in 42 mins and I’m getting better ,35 mins could be something I actually could do with training I think ,,,,I’m 55 yrs so very very pleased with my fitness
Visit a physio and do some physiotherapy. Then ask him to make a plantogram of your foot to check if you have any sort of pronation and maybe you'll need insoles. That's what I did and fixed my shin pain.
@Kenji haha mmmm good find but I'm on the fence about that one. Looks like he was may have been stretching the skin around his lips to get a good scratch in on his cheek first, and just happened to turn toward the cam while in the act. Thank God he realized his mistake and relaxed the lips immediately, face forward again. And I'm noticing now that his thumb is almost always up on the right hand.
@@sweatelite you don't need a new mic, you need a microphone deadcat (yes its actually called that) or a foam windscreen. Not sure if my comment will get flagged for advertising so I'll post a link to an explaining video in a second reply.
I am always wondering what is going through a runners head while he is running on high performance and torturing himself.. i feel like a big part of a good run is decided in their mind...
Sweat Elite is carrying all UA-cam running content rn
New gen track and field also
^ great channel
@Kenji and thats one of the things that makes it great
@Kenji there have never been solo cups or bubble gum on that entire channel
3:30 "Is he training for the Olympics?"
"He is"
"Is he really?"
"Ya"
"Woahh"

haha love it
that was hilarious 😂
That was jokes Fr
He was so impressed :) wow
The locals around Boulder and Flagstaff probably expect to see US team runners at this point in an Olympics year.
That for real probably made that guy's day, week, and year. What an honor to meet an Olympian.
This is what i want. No music no narration. Just pure
This is all we need. Basic, raw content of athletes doing what they do, day in and day out. No music or crazy editing.
Chase McQueen is a cool ass name
I agree and also even more American than cheese burgers

What are his strength feats
My Man Sweatelite said that they have message OAC but no replies
strength doesnt mean size. His size would be from swimming and cycling.
Insane watching how fast he runs these and then realizing Kipchoge ran a marathon at a pace less than 5 seconds slower per mile!
These videos are really great, they give such an insight to the hard work the pros do. Thank you.
By far the best running channel on UA-cam.
Great content mate.
I just love the sound of feet hitting the pavement. Great videos!
Morgan is such a good runner to watch. Can't wait for Tokyo!
I discovered this channel somewhat recently so I’m watching all the old content too, as I love what you guys capture. Another great video!
Congrats to Morgan and the US team capturing silver in team TRI!
That takes me back some decades ago when I was training on my old high school track before going to an Olympics, and some of the old ladies walking on the outside lanes thought I should slow down. One of them yelled to me, "You're going to die!"
What event did you run?!
Joe Klecker? It’d be awesome to watch one of his workouts. Super cool videos, thanks.

Damn this workout looked tough . Let’s gooo Pearson
Humble, hard working and now going for Gold. Good luck Morgan!
That dude said he'd be running chill and then runs at a pace that kills most people.
Honestly. I can only run a 4:50 mile
Considering of his running background this is normal for him lol
Autentico el sonido de las pisadas de las placas sobre el asfalto y la brutal cadencia gran entrenamiento y gran video
man that's difficult and amazing at the SAME time!

This complex is used a lot by pro athletes around Boulder. Parker Stinson, Luis orta and Tinman elite have used it
Feel like we saw another runner from a previous video using this same area or am I imagining things?
Correct- Parker Stinson
A lot of pro runners in the boulder area run at that complex, I think tinman elite runs there as well
I thought the same
great work! inspiring af
Brilliant - thanks for showcasing these amazing athletes
This guy is good, 2:50 per km for a Triathlete athlete!!
Now I believe Richard Marry ran that 28:20km TT
Want to see this man rip a 5k on the track he is such a beast
excellent form

Who's chain ring kept slipping in different gears though, can't be that great!
@@georgepagotelis Great bike, shit mechanic.. sounds pretty standard for a triathlete to me.
I’m only running a 4:32 mile. Don’t wanna kill myself.
6:22 The giveaway Australian phrase
I wonder why he would pick different super shoes for relay vs. individual. It definitely begged a question...
I fond it confuse too.
Relay is a lot shorter than 10k, so different shoes might be necessary
Ease of entry for transition?
Because the Alphafly’s are harder to get in and slightly more plush so better in both areas for longer distances
@@RVBthebison thanks a lot for the answer
Great content bro keep it up
Crazy to see someone who’s as fit as they’ll ever be in their whole life
Man is only gonna get fitter, can't wait!
is this where parker stinson did his vid
Something humorous about him taking off his tights and having another pair of short tights under. Killer run though
Is that green shirt from target? I think I have the same one. The brand is All in Motion. Such a nice, light, soft shirt
This guy can be the best ironman racer ever
This spot is becoming a mecca haha
Sweat elite rlly carrying lmao
What about the recouvery??
What is the rest between the mile? 2'?
it's look live everyone in boulder train in the same loop but u never see 2 athletes in the same video hh
What was the rest in between miles?

@@davidwatched935 thank you
finally got the answer! :)

Love its just near a mall or business park
Ayo Swift should sponsor this guy
Love there is no shitty music being played over these
Awsome! We want more! Matt, Do you accept recommendation? I want to see recommend somebody that's now in Colorado.
Did he start without any warm up???
Energy🔥👍
I wish I could run like this guy. He has a terrific running form.
No warm up?

About 3'.
@@timlofton6595 that's crazy!
How inadequate would you feel if you were the guy he runs past in the white during the first run!
how about a smile from our Olympian when he gets a compliment

Can i know what shoe Morgan is wearing?

Nike vaporfly next %
Imagine if his HR is just around 150bpm😂
heart rate probably 1 beat per day when he isnt exercising
What was the relay he was talking about, I thought for triathlon that there was only 1 race.
I think there’s a triathlon relay as well as another event
No joke, this guy must just become a professional runner. Smooth running form & relaxed too.
I like him
Animal!!!
My guy !
4:30 mile repeats, jeeeez
You need to deal with the wind noise man. Love the video
Tried s few mics now without much luck in reducing the whistling. Any recommendations?
@@sweatelite you don't need a new mic, you need a microphone deadcat (yes its actually called that) or a foam windscreen. Not sure if my comment will get flagged for advertising so I'll post a link to an explaining video in a second reply.
@@sweatelite Here is a random video I pulled showcasing the two options. ua-cam.com/video/b5II1x3Wr0c/v-deo.html
There's already a deadcat on the mic used in this video (and previous 3)... will look for a better one.
💪💪💪👌👌👌
Runs a 4:32 and follows that up with "I'm not gonna kill myself" Most people can only run that pace for 1/10th of a mile........maybe haha
And the fastest half marathoners run this pace for almost an hour ^^
What is his recovery time in between
About 3 min.
Sweet as flowing honey
I am always wondering what is going through a runners head while he is running on high performance and torturing himself.. i feel like a big part of a good run is decided in their mind...
He looks heavy for a fast marathoner. Is that an illusion?
"triathlete" probably smashes the swim and bike legs.
First💪🏼
Congratulations 🙌
