- An action/character-profile of Aya Fujimiya, the angsty florist-assassin swordsman of Weiss. The video has been long in the making, but I think turned out better in the long run for the wait. I drew footage not only from the Weiss Kreuz television series, OAVs, and Gluhen, but two of the "Music Clip Animation" videos (Tokyo Sling and Carnival 2000) in making this video.
While I'd originally conceived of the video with an Aya/Omi bent, as I got deeper into the editing I realized pretty quickly that wasn't going to work out. As a result, there's a little bit of everyone paired off with Aya, except perhaps Sakura and Asami, as neither particularly worked in the context of the video. They're probably better off not in there anyhow as Aya comes off as a bit of an abusive boyfriend anyhow. ;)
"Freude" is German for "Joy", the name of the song by VNV Nation that I used in this video. - Фільми й анімація
Good use of song and imagery. I like Aya, and I think this video did a good job conveying both his assassin side and the part of him that just wants it to be over. Great work!
This video made me wanna watch Weiss Kreuz. In fact, I will do just that. This video is so awesome! And VNV Nation is one of my favorite bands! Thumbs up!

A few years ago I used to watch the AMV very often,it was one of my favorites, and tonight I rembered about it, about Aya and this song, so I wanted to tell you it's awesome, and I'm happy you haven't deleted it or anything :)

Yeah, he was supposed to die at the end of Gluhen, but the manga/drama CDs Side B retconned that so he lives. Pick your favorite--that, having atoned for his sins, he dies peacefully, or that he lives one as an assassin and continues to kill the dark beasts in the night. Either one is cool, and either one is totally canon.
Also, this AMV is just perfect.

Awesome job! A rather abrupt ending: was there some sort of fade-out effect you could've used? Other than that, it was great!! ^-^ I love Aya; he's my favorite character from Weiss Kreuz.

Hello all I am new to youtube and new to weiss Kreuz so yes Freude is a beutiful song I like the video even though it's alittle fuzzy but all and all lovely
OMG! My commento was erased U_U. Anyway, I said this video was amazing and the music was perfect.Although some of the images I dont recall seeing neither on Gluhen, nor the first, nor the OAVs.. I liked it a lot.

actually the name's song is "joy", they made another song named "freude" which is in german, and in different style
