I use to do scrapbooking ones, when I was a 'Mum' and head off Friday afternoon and get home late Sunday afternoon... it was GREAT... just wanna find the people keen in NZ and the right place... Wallaceville House is beautiful...

@@StaceyJsStudio maybe later. We are getting ready to move. Big move from Tennessee back to the middle of Texas. Back to where our kiddos and grands are. Plus with my hubby’s health I want to be closer to family instead of 14 hours away.

Hi Stacey. I have made the Sydney dress (in linen) and found it VERY generous in the sizing. Also the pockets were very low. It’s a great dress and will definitely remake in a smaller size.
Thank you so much for this information... I will up the pockets 5cm (2inch) and I need room in my bust... hips not so much... I am super excited to make 🦩🦩🧵🪡💕💕

@@StaceyJsStudio On my quest for the perfect dress for my body shape I’ve been considering the Elodie wrap dress by closet core patterns but a few vloggers have mentioned that they have come across issues with the waistband, so that can be my suggestion Abuelita 😃 It’s time to drag myself out of my comfort zone 😜💞🦁💞

Hi Stacey, I enjoy your vlogs a lot. I just wanted to say I have the stylearc Sydney dress and there are instructions to make it not just pictures as you keep showing. I’m not sure why yours doesn’t have instructions. Happy sewing 😊

Made that Style Arc Sydney it’s a beautiful dress and a quick easy make. I’m going to remake with my forward shoulders alteration and it should fit better. Maybe I’ll join you with the monthly make. I made both mine in linen but they are too hot to wear at the moment. Thought I’d try one in viscose. Great to sit and watch you are awesome. Been taking Mum back to the specialist for her eyes. She is on the mend.

We do go out for dinner at least once a month… but that just because I’m busy sewing and he is busy in his shed and suddenly we are starving and no one have thought of dinner 🤣
We always have scraps, and Chris is normally shattered from work.... so its never happened....

I stitch down the pockets of the Sydney and you don't see if you use right thread.
Yes, not a full lover of stitching them down, but as you say, if you use the right thread. The other thing is you are top stitching around the collar, so it fits in eh!
What were your thoughts on the low-ness of the pockets?

@@StaceyJsStudio I don't find the pockets too low Stacey and I love the shape. I have made 3 in knit fabric and use them as 'house dresses'. I sized down with them. They are super comfortable to wear. I might not stitch the pockets if I was using a floaty fabric and just leave them loose. I do like this pattern.
What’s on your ceiling?
Ok Tricia, trying to think where I was when I showed the ceiling. Above my cutting out table are some power points, when I use my domestic machines I will have them on the cutting table and my power comes from above.
If I am at my sewing machine, then there is a clock above me that Mr Christopher put up there at my request during lockdown... 2020... batteries are flat but it is definitely a talking point ..

Morning sensei! Once again I’m late to the party… I think I have a problem. A 3am finish trying to finish my candy cane dress to wear today. Gooseneck thingy is very impressive… Sitting in bed watching and Mr Hubbikins spotted it straight away. He then launched into a a VERY thorough explanation of its benefits…. It was a thing of beauty😂
SEWING RETREAT….i was happy when you bought it up… YES … THEN I made this face…😱…then this face…😩…then this…😫…then this…😭…you get the idea. But I would so be there if I could. But if you organised another one in 2025 and it was at the right time then it would be a no brainer, as I had previously decided Mr Hubbikins and me are crossing over the ditch to finally see the land of the long white cloud (is that the right translation?) yep that’s right, so be prepared!
