I am absolutely amazed at your ability to make everything multi-functional. It shows you have put much thought into your builds before you even lift a tool.
Love your vids. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in a project that I get frustrated when my kids come in the shop. Then I take a breath and realize they just want to be where you are. I keep a spare ear protection and chair close by in case they just want to watch. One day when they move out I will have my tools but may wish for time back with the little ones. Just a thought. Love your builds!

Hi Young, Nice design. You are one of the few people who use bearings on the wheels and a full shoulder bolt inside the wheels. I am ready to make one for myself. Good inspiration.
good on you. i will use skateboard wheels, 2 inches diameter for idler, (2 bearings a wheel) and a 5 or 6 wooden, on motor, maybe pvc pipe as outside, as this gentleman did.... 2 x 42 also, check out Jeremy Schmidts' utube videos, he is an excellent designer, builder. tilting on vertical/horizontal axis....amazing....attachments on grind end....stunningly good...
Did you really make that 2 by 72 sander/grinder out of wood that is so cool I've never seen anything like that before. Thanks for sharing this with us. Keep up the wood products and show people what they can make out of wood thats so geat.👍
A cool Idea ur Contactwheel and Grinder. He looks like as Fort Knox 😊 verry cool. Heavy Metall. I will buld me my first Grinder and looks how other Guys make this or this. Ur little Wheels a good Idea too. Since Paul / Germany.
That is so killer i just dont have the resorces to build yhe grinder let alone the sanding belt ,i do have the dri press and moter the belt sanding arm set jp but the metal parts and tools to make bad ass jog set up hou have is killer i dont have ,i have a shit ton of fittings you got my wheels spinning great video as usual thank you .
I think I would've opted for an extra bearing on either side (for a total of 4), but other than that not bad. Over the long term, it will be interesting to see how well the plastic holds up.
I really like the idea of the PVC for the circumference of your wheels. Are you having in issues with metal filings or debris embedding in them? I would think it is hard enough to prevent picking up any metal particles.
When you going to do a interchangeable drum sander Young for 24 and 36 inch pieces ,think its stubby nubbs who does one but seems like way to much work
Hi mr je.... do you use aluminium bars or stainless steel bars for your projects? For your planes i know you used stainless steel bars but im curious about the metal you use for your jigs and machines...
Shouldn't you have the bearings in a steel seat instead of wood? Maybe inset a piece of pipe into the wood first. the bearings are going to eventually become loose in the wood... Maybe then inlet a better seat for the bearings? If you had a lathe it would be easy but I'm afraid it's easier to start over & build the bearing seat first. Then the wheel. Great job though.

Your videos are very relaxing. I like your wheel design and dust collection method. Very smart.
Very impressive. Thanks for sharing !
That's a really nice belt sander you've made :)
Very great job
Precisely and well done

As per the rest of your builds it's excellent!

Kids want to learn also :) Learning through observation. Hehe.. oh wait, i must be a 37 year old kid :p
Thanks for the comment,
They can also distract you so you loose a finger!
If we don't teach them, nobody else will.

Dear sir, do you have any building plans available for your 2 x 72 belt grinder? Thanks in advance for your answer, with kind regards John

JB Marker PVC is rather slick so i doubt any peices can be pushed into them
Yes, that's right,
So there is no such problem yet,
JB Marker me in coming op hi hi hi hi
Good work /Wat speed of motor
Brilliant
Impressive
Awesome how about showing us how to make a drum sander pls
good job all I need now is 6k worth of tools to make it

Looks like a new motor. Where did you get it. What are the specs? Thank you!
I bought harbor freight,
2 hp, 1800 rpm,
thanks,
👍👍👍
thanks.
Hey man! Great videos. I was wondering if you sell belt sander plans? Thanks
Sorry
I can't do drawing work,
Is the heat a problem with this pvc pipe?
When you going to do a interchangeable drum sander Young for 24 and 36 inch pieces ,think its stubby nubbs who does one but seems like way to much work
Have you had any issues with belt slippage because of the pvc and also any problems to the pvc due to heat build up from grinding? Thanks
How is the PVC holding up to the metal dust?
There is no such problem yet,
Motor bike or car inner tube can be cut across to give an outside rubber coating to grip the sandpaper and provide a more forgiving surface
nice idea.....!!
Do you rough up the surface of the PVC for a better grip?
I do not feel I need to do that because of spring tension,
@@YoungJe yes, you have alot of belt surface area, on that 7 inch roller, no heat problems, either...
how many kw is your motor and how many revolutions per minute
Hi mr je.... do you use aluminium bars or stainless steel bars for your projects? For your planes i know you used stainless steel bars but im curious about the metal you use for your jigs and machines...
There is nothing fixed,
I used 1018 cold steel mainly to make planes,
I used aluminum in this grinder,
It will always change according to the purpose,
Young Je ohh..understood. thank you sir
Nice build! What's the motor's HP? New Sub
2HP
Where can i buy a plan ?
Вообще супер
how many are engine revs?
It's a 1800 rpm
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
sir motar kitne hp ki hai
HOW MANY RPM HAS IT'S MOTOR THANKS
1800 RPM
for doing your threading , try using cutting compund or Engine Oil , it makes cutting neater

i made one 80"wide and 50 miles long
WTF is a contack wheel
I dont like other peoples kids.
But first you need a few thousand dollars worth of machinery 👎
