    Thanks Matt, you are the man for beginners! With this lesson, you turn a basic strummer into a person with some rhythm. Keep these tips coming.

    Great tip. 👍. You said Lil bit ago you have a hard time on F chord. Tip, 1st finger 1st string 1st fret, making sure that you catch in the center of your finger right against the fret making it easier to lean over or up to 2nd string you know where the others go. That's how I learned it

    Matt could you maybe do lesson for turn the page. I have seen several on here, and it basically follows the EM, D, and A chord structure. I don't know what it is man, but when you teach it makes since. Stay great brother. God Bless.

    Thanks for all the videos I reference you lessons a lot. First time commenting tho but I was wondering l if you could do a video on a drake whites song- Giants. I’m pretty sure it uses your 4 Chords you teach from all the time but not 100%.

    Could you do a tutorial on Good Intentions by Randy Travis? I've been wanting to learn to play that. It's a very touching song.

    Btw... if you cant play this it doesnt make you bad at guitar. I struggle with it too as someone who's played for nearly 10 years. Learning guitar is all about learning various skills.

    **** YALL HELP ME GET HIS ATTENTION*** ON THIS QUESTION** I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE WONDERING THIS***Matt on your song book...how do we know the count for each chord? Like in "5 more minutes" it goes Em,D,C...Em for 2, D for 2, C for 1? Also what if its 4/4 count and you strumming is on count but theres a gap in chords until the next chord change? Like singing without strumming until the chord changes, i never see you stop strumming?

  • @bybbuck
    @bybbuck 2 роки тому

    I've never understood how to work that in, so if your doing 4 beats of G, then 4 beats of C, then back to G, how would you count that out? Would all of those individual notes be in place of C? Or a portion of C?

      I can strum a pattern and i can sing but I can’t do both together. Matt told me not to worry about patterns and work on timing. Now i can sing and strum and that’s all that matters to me. Good luck.

      I'm intermediate but I love your simplicity. And I enjoy finding techniques everywhere. You should throw a knife in the dark and hit a recording studio. You're one, I feel like playin, COVID relief song away. Crazier shit sells. I believe you could
