    Awesome! So cool to see a 3-dimensional image emerge from a flat piece of paper!

      This is where things get interesting..nothing in reality is real and solid as we think it is. It's all illusion held together by forces between atoms. All colours and objects etc are nothing more than vibratory waves. Have you ever seen a hologramamatic image on plastic that seems to move when you do? Well when we move we are literally changing billions of still realities per second creating the illusion of movement :)

    It must be a very smooth paper. I have 'charcoal' paper that has little grain to it, and the charcoal does not lay in smooth at all. I am used to using only Vine Charcoal, and just trying out pencils now.

      @@VitruvianStudio what about the white charcoal pencil for highlights?! is it charcoal or pastel?

    • @VitruvianStudio
      @VitruvianStudio  4 роки тому

      @@olekvidya5357 Well, technically, there's no such thing as "white charcoal". We have a blog post about that here: vitruvianstudio.com/what-the-heck-is-white-charcoal/

    I love your drawing technique but how the hell you draw vertical? That would drive me inside. Even in the life room im 50 degrees max, and still usually draw flat if I can get away with it.

    • @m0nk34_
      @m0nk34_ 5 років тому

      When you look at a drawing vertically you're forced to see it how you see everything else, it allows you to put your subject right behind the drawing and it being able to look at it straight on there arent any perceptional issues. Drawing while sitting down will kill your back overtime, it doesn't allow for much shoulder movement which can force you to use messy lines. Drawing vertical takes practice but it's the most well know and effect way of drawing.

    What pencil are you using if you don't mind me asking? I'm having a real problem with graphite shine, is there a technique to prevent this? Thank you!
