- Halle Bailey might be pregnant and...what else is new? I've mentioned in my previous Halle videos that she doesn't care about the spotlight. Bailey seems more interested in her personal life to the chagrin of the public. Who wanted Halle to be this huge movie star but what people missed were the signs Halle was giving. Halle Bailey has been signaling to us since the beginning that she never wanted to be this huge entertainer.

Honestly, she doesn't owe us anything. It's her life BUT it still breaks my heart that she settled for a man who doesn't respect her, who doesn't celebrate her success, who cheats on her and who's not on her level.
You can't say she isn't going to be the superstar. She literally has one song. She is getting honoured. She has talent and hard work and is really excellent

I never knew she said this in an interview. So then what was the point of it all? I think Halle should have turned down the part for the Little Mermaid with that type of attitude. Her demographic does not need to see her living like this.

@@MineralTown They are signed to Parkwood management which is owned by Beyonce who never promoted them not even via her social media platforms. DDG’s brand is clashing with Halle’s brand. Halle and Chloe want out of their kiddie image but going about things in the wrong way. But I have to remind myself that Beyonce markets herself poorly and has not had any successful none music related business ventures.

I'm just frustrated that most of our celebrities are baby mamas. Like I get that it's not completely her responsibility as she's still an individual. It just sucks because she's the only black live action Disney princess and the only Disney princess that's a baby mama. It plays into negative stereotypes and the whole world is going to see it
I think us black women should quietly distance ourselves from her. We need to be choosy about who we elevate like other groups are

We can still support Halle. She's very talented and a great person. But we should be pushing the other girls who fit the bill and don't feed into the stereotypes (Willow, Coco jones, Ayo edebiri, China Anne Mcclain and her sisters etc).

@@PopfiliaI'm more so a bit surprised that marriage and pregnancy has come so early I guess. I was really looking forward to her dropping more songs, music videos, MAYBE EVEN A TOUR with her sister but girly wanted marriage and children right now. Thanks for commenting, I explicitly mentioned multiple times not being certain of halle’s condition. But I do think she’s preggo. Also Halle doesn’t prioritize her career much so a Victoria Monet type of success is a bit of a reach. Thanks for commenting

Hey thanks for the comment. I had a hard time understanding but IMO parkwood is a little at fault. Since Halle tried to merge her brand with DDG, they should have nipped it in the bud. Nothing wrong with having a BF but DDG’s image wasn’t helpful to Halle’s career

Clearly 😂 you haven’t listened throughly to her music - Chloe’s music. And their music as a duo. Hah! As a former musician (would not say vocalist other than catholic choir just never sang solo other than plays) but their songwriting/melodies. Yes they are the real deal. Gorgeous supernatural.
