- Follow me as I venture outside of DUBLIN for the day to this sleepy little SEASIDE town on the Irish Sea. Is it really underrated or a hidden paradise?

Beautiful coastal town.Where the Mega Star Sinead O Connor Lived.RIP Lady Sinead ❤🙏🏽
This place is gorgeous, better in the summer tho 😍
That is Bray head. There is a house with a pink conservatory at the front and multicoloured bricks, that's the former home of the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer, Sinead O'Connor who lived there untill 2021. She was found dead in her flat in London and her funeral processions were along that promenade
It’s sad what happened to her. She never got over losing her son
Oh wow, I love her songs❤
Bray picks up in the Summer but it gets mostly day trippers from Dublin. The days of overnight accommodation for holidays is not as prevalent as it once was. Many of the houses were purpose built as lodging houses in the mid to late 19th Century when the railway was brought to Bray. It was in the news recently on the death of Sinéad O'Connor, who owned a house on the Bray seafront which has become a shrine to her devoted fans and was the site of her funeral recently.
The houses now are used by professionals such as accountants, solicitors and consultants and also as private language (English) schools etc.
Wow, I didn’t know that Sinead O’Connor had a house there. She was an amazing singer and human being
