That is Bray head. There is a house with a pink conservatory at the front and multicoloured bricks, that's the former home of the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer, Sinead O'Connor who lived there untill 2021. She was found dead in her flat in London and her funeral processions were along that promenade
Born and reared in Bray, I am now 69yrs old and miss my old town now, will be back in a few weeks for a short visit to see family, will never live there again but have very happy memories of growing up in dear old Bray.
Bray picks up in the Summer but it gets mostly day trippers from Dublin. The days of overnight accommodation for holidays is not as prevalent as it once was. Many of the houses were purpose built as lodging houses in the mid to late 19th Century when the railway was brought to Bray. It was in the news recently on the death of Sinéad O'Connor, who owned a house on the Bray seafront which has become a shrine to her devoted fans and was the site of her funeral recently. The houses now are used by professionals such as accountants, solicitors and consultants and also as private language (English) schools etc.
Nice video. But just so you know when you’re in Ireland you’re not in the British Isles. Heavily disputed term not used or recognised by the Irish government at any level. Also the Mc Donald’s you were in has been voted one of the most beautiful McDonald’s in the world. 😀
@@murpho999well I basically just said what came into my mind at the time. It’s what it’s referred to in the Uk and I’m from there so naturally it came out in speech.
This place is gorgeous, better in the summer tho 😍
Agreed. Bray Head is especially nice during the summer months.

It’s sad what happened to her. She never got over losing her son
Oh wow, I love her songs❤

Islands collectively.
That maccies was lovely inside tbf
@@travellinglostsoul7191 well I don’t see why they have to be grouped collectively but most here just call them Ireland and Britain.
