I was 19 when this song came out. 38 years old now and this hits harder than ever. Life can hurt worse with time.

@user-jt8bx6wv7z we all had the privilege of being , in my opinion, the last free youth! NO social media, NO internet, NO economic challenges, we were FREE to be kids and teenagers and just have fun. Campfires, sleepovers, slip n slides, hide n seek, weekend movies, and real friendships. Then on to first cars, girlfriends, and bits and pieces of REAL life that kids these days will never know.
This band is good, one of my favorite band in the late 90's. So glad I grew up listening to good music. 90's - early 2000's era. The best!

I was 17yo when I was shopping at Hollister with my gf and they had this song playing. It was the first time I've ever heard it. She knew right away that I loved it by the way I was holding her even closer to me. When we got to the car she told me to stay right there as she had to run back to a store real quick. She went in and bought this CD for me. I'm 36 years old now and married to this women. As for the CD, sadly it got too scratched up to play, but we still both love this song. Just a great memory, to me, that I thought I'd share. Good day, everyone.

Man this song is 100% nostalgia. I found an old CD I had burned when I was like 14 years old and this was on it. I had forgotten all about this song, but when it came on I remembered every single lyric. God please take me back haha.
Yeah, I remember when cd's turned to ipods "I was like, wtf is this thing?" The guy explained it to me and I had to buy one! The days where burning a cd was just that! Making music for entertainment, not to have phycological wars with a terrible unhealthy non ending battles with terminology

Even though it looks like a pretty simple video, a lot went into it. All the shots, the camera angles, the cropping, the coloring! And it actually has a story!

I've never seen such emotion in a song or in a singer. There is no comparison, he is screaming and singing through his teeth, all the while, sounding epic and passionate. I wouldn't have been surprised if he just burst out of his skin at the end of the video.
