Great video as always! Love that last quote, I think the more you work, the more difficult it is to separate your identity from your job. Keeping things sustainable is so key 🔑

    Hey Jason !
I've discovered your channel while I was searching for information about consulting which interests me as a freshman year student...
After watching your video , I realized that consulting can provide a nice lifestyle and work opportunities , but something scares me a lot regarding this field as I heard that it is one of the most infamous jobs when it comes to work life balance and after that I considered switching , but I don't really want to because I enjoy what i'm actually studying but at the same time am afraid to regret doing my degree in the first place , after watching your video , I got a clearer view on the honest side of consulting and it proved me that it is possible to actually get a better work life balance... so my question to you is :
Do you recommend me to enter the consulting field ? and how would you describe your experience in it ? and what should a futur consultant expect from consulting ?
I hope these questions don't bother you because I'd really like to know from your experience. And thank you for your videos your work is really incredible !
    keep it up !

Personally I do believe the saying that everything worthwile is hard. Work life balance will not be as good as a mediocre office job but the upside is there. Exit options, types of work, types of people you work for, big name clients... if you are ambitious I think it's worth it. But like I said- you cannot have it both ways, you have to decide what is more important to you! It will not be the best hours (but not the worst like Investment banking either), work can be grilling sometimes but if you want to achive something I think it is a good starting point!

Hey, just stumbled upon your video for the first time today.
I have also recently started working here in the UK after Uni, I live by myself and find it hard to make myself go out and socialise. What has helped you stay motivated to be socially connected?
I think I want to try your strategy of thinking of me five years down the line too. I resonate with everything you've shared here.

I think what drives me to meet people is just that I am a people's person, I love learning from other people, feeling inspired and coming out of each conversation as a better person!
