Dimash presented a song with a Kazakh folk instrument at the Grand opening of the International Competition of Young Performers "New Wave-2021" in Sochi, Russia.

The idea to add kobyz to the new song came to Dimash after he first heard the melody "Stranger". He decided that the folk instrument would fit perfectly into the song, giving it an exciting sound. The performer of the kobyz part is Olzhas Kurmanbek.

Zu meinen persönlichen Favoriten zählen : Adagio Drunken concubine+ Diva dance Olympico Ikanaide und nicht zu vergessen sein Meisterwerk The story of one sky . Aber eigentlich ist es völlig egal was er singt, jedes Lied zieht mich in seinen Bann.

Yeah the phone thing annoys me too. How can you clap while holding a phone up? On the other hand, some should be recording because we would miss much if there were not at least a few providing fancams. But an entire audience holding up phones ruins the experience. No problem with pausing, I prefer that over talking over the performance. Dimash throws in interesting moments that you could miss. 🎶🌹🎹🌹🎶

Watching you again on this reaction, and still love it. I don't mind your pauses as I do most of the other reactors, because you really have something to say. Most of them will ask " Did you hear that?" What kind of question is that? I hope you will listen to the other performances of Dimash from The Singer 2017. Especially, The Show Must Go On, Adagio, Daybreak ( which he sang while being ill with a severe sore throat and fever), Unforgettable Day, and Confessa/ Diva Dance. Keep in mind he was only 22 then and the only non-professional and youngest performer on the show. BTW, love the hat too.
