Thank You Jeff for the great videos, you deserve it. Keep up the great work!
Thank you times 10!
The sparrow roost box I purchased from you is working well.
That's wonderful news. I've gotten years of use from mine!
@@BackyardBirdsUS I sealed everything with shellac, then some polyurethane. Seems to do ok so far out in the weather. I also started using Van Ert traps in my barn, on your recommendation. They are working well. A couple of male HSP have been caught so far.
Congrats to you Jeff! I also wanted to report on a capture using my Van Ert trap of what I thought was a House Sparrow. It didn't look quite the same and research told me that it was an Eurasian tree sparrow! That was a new one on me. Still invasive. I have captured 2 and spied a 3rd one trying to take over a Blue Bird house. I am treating them the same as the House Sparrows. I live halfway between St. Louis and St. Paul apparently on the edge of their range and they must be spreading. They are smaller than the chunkier House Sparrow, and hold their tail up more wrenlike and are perkier in behavior. The males & females look alike and can be confusing as at first it looks like 2 males nesting together until you get them identified. When looking through binoculars, I now see the cheek spot that is prominent and lack of bib when identifying. Thank you for your informative channel!
You are my first report of the eurasian tree sparrows. Very interesting details. Very glad you shared. I'm told not as aggressive but they still compete.
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you much.
WOW nice Jeff!
It's been a lot of work.
How long does it usually take for you to ship the shelter box out to me? I’m learning so much watching all your videos.❤️
Usually a couple days. I just shipped one today. I wonder if it was yours.
Glad you are learning. That's my goal.
@@BackyardBirdsUS I live in Louisiana, I did get an email saying it was on his way
How do I purchase one of your shelter boxes that attached to house sparrow trap ?
I found it. Thank you so much for the wonderful information watching all your videos❤️
It's in the video description of the elevator trap videos. But i see you found it.
