Need more colors!
This is what I'm looking at as a new diesel tech. I've got a good amount of tools that my craftsman box isn't holding anymore and for the price it's amazing compared to Snap-On.
Hey harbor freight! When is oarnge with black trim coming out?
If they added the metallic purple color they used on the Daytona super duty HD jack that would be sick
That Purple is amazing. Nice orange and red too!
WE NEED THIS IN CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAVE THE NORTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys at Harbor Freight need to start answering your website message center. I left left several messages requesting some information about Icon storage purchase with no reply!
These are nice. I'd love to have this. But, my reality is more the US General direction.
I’ve used US General for years no complaints 👍
I have a US general 56inch roller toolbox for several yrs and has been great for the $$$
That's what I got too
I’m saving up for the whole set
The more I look at these tool storage the more I want to go with the Icon. Instead of settling for other I'm saving up for these. Thank you Harbor Freight.
I need a blue icon box with black trim like the green box
I ordered mine May 22. Store told me 10 days, so I ordered…but when I called it turned out to be 8-10 week wait. A later email said 2-4 weeks a shipper would contact me. So I ordered a lock set to use one key, May 30th, it said expected ship date August 4th on the website. Got that package today, 6-6-21.
Interestingly confusing. Still don’t know when my tool box order might arrive. We’ll see. Sold my Snap On Epiq. Decided to try one out and not sure it was a good move.
did u get it yet?
@@ranacherian Yes he has, he did make a youtube video of the unload and setting it up. Go check it out.
From my research these boxes looked like a great alternative to the "truck brands"
But One Thing disappointing, i went into Harbor freight store this afternoon 07/01/23 to order the 73 Roll cab in black with a hutch and side cabinet and was told it would be the middle of November before i see it.
Unfortunately at this point i may have to go with the "truck brand" box just for availability.
I hope this isn't the norm, especially for replacement parts.
Ordered mine in red on 7/23/23 and received it on 9/5/23. Not sure if the color is what was holding your order up. I got the 73 inch roller, with 2 lockers, hutch, and the two overhead storage compartments.
I really wish you guys made it soft close droors even the husky brand and milwaukee have that at home depot for half the price and don't get me wrong box looks nice I've seen it in person looks solid but it'd just take it to the next level I think and definetly put people over the top to buying this box because it'd be seen as quality
All the snap on and Mac boxes I’ve seen don’t have soft close. My personal craftsman box has it but I’m definitely gonna get an icon soon.
Now make it in Slate Grey please and I’ll buy 3 🥶😍
These are so nice I wish you could get a fire safe locker corporate requires it for all airosal cans and other flamible materials sad I can't add one to the side that looks as nice as these doo
Add fire retardent sound deadening to your box. Might take some space but it would deaden sound and make it fire safe
@@aayesher9400 has to actually be a certified fore safe cabnit and have the proper venting I have learned this why only parts have access to the arisols
New colors coming soon? Slate grey?
Need more color options
I got to say that’s a sweet toolbox if I had to choose I would go with the black one 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼
Need to bring the 20% off on Icon tool storage.
20% off icon is active right now.
@@RedShiftedDollar its single item only.
just purchased a Huffy tall boy tool box. Looking for a tool cabinet with a wooden desk top for around $400 now.
Love to put one of those in my garage.
They are a nice looking cabinet. Can they be bought with bigger drawers? My local HF store had no idea. I'd really think about buying one especially with the new financing option but it has to many small drawers. They just aren't set up for a me as is. Other than that they look to be well worth the money.
You have to order the drawers after buying the box. You can't order it with different drawers in it already.
What is the depth with the drawer open?
is 36in ever coming back?
I can’t find that power tool holder anywhere. Does anyone know where to get one?
Icon/HF should make more color options like on Series 3 with black handles.
If they added the metallic purple color they used on the Daytona super duty HD jack that would be sick
I would have to try some stuff before investing in the hype. Need more real tradesman reviewe
Search UA-cam. There are a lot of very positive reviews and even complete tear downs.
My coworker has the 72" version. going for 2900.... the 56" and the 72" are near identical to the snap-on epic series. they have the same drawer layout. Snap-on uses 3 rails per side on their speed drawer other than that about the same. with 22-24" drawer depth which is very accommodating for complete organization. Icon quality is truly amazing for it's price. I really wanted an epic series Snap-on box but can't tac on another 7k on-top of my maxed out account. Plus it would cost another 600 bucks to add in the box extras that Icon already equips. Downside with Icon is their limited choice of colors (depending on your shop have it airbrushed to your liking). Both have a lifetime warranty, and both can be built up with a hutch with metal peg board, side lockers or base extensions. The Icon 56" is well worth the $2200. beats out the quality to budget boxes, Husky , Sunex , Craftsman by far. Also fully loaded at 1300lbs plus the box is actually mobile. The Casters are really well built on their boxes. I had to move my coworkers 72" box around which weighs much more loaded. They sold me on it. Pretty much anything by ICON is a great deal Especially their XL double box offset ratcheting wrench set with reverse select SK was the only one to make such a wrench with lifetime warranty but stopped making them since they changed ownership. Icon is Made in Taiwan not mainland China. Huge difference in craftsmanship. 40% of Snap-on tools are made in Taiwan. So lets hope Taiwan stays protected. Tools are among the many things that will be affected severely.
You can not go wrong with ICON, it's the only brand worth buying at Harbor Freight. Wish they made Power tools with the same quality and warranty. They would dominate.
I really like these tool boxes A LOT!!!!!! There is one thing that I am holding out on though, and it wasn't even the new lower price. I'm waiting for multiple color choices for the aluminum trim, similar to the Snap On tool box that you are comparing your tool box to. Make similar color choices available, and my LIKE will instantly become LOVE, and THEN, I will head out to buy one. Other than that, I have absolutely nothing to complain about with this tool box, it seems to be built every bit as well as the tool truck brands, with many of their options, and at a fraction of the price. Another option that I'm sure many people would like is a composite or butcher block top.
Same here, I'm personally waiting till I get my metal building built as I dont want to have to try and load this up from work when I move. As of now my $100 trade in box will get sold back to one of the tool trucks for $100 when I quit for my move. I'm how ever curious how the modular addons attach since I want to get the box, hutch and side locker.
@@Milner62 Yeah, it's been almost a year since I made my post, and @Harbor Freight Tools apparently doesn't really give a shit about what a lot of people are holding out on. I'll look for a used Snap On or Matco tool box. At least then I can get the color options I want.
@@PaganWizard, of course they wouldnt care. but then again many people dont care about color options when it comes to a tool box that is being used for work either.
Wow these are nice.
Colors!!!!!
More colors!
do you ship to UK?
Do the icon lockers mount up to the general boxes? Specifically the 72” general one...
The icons are deeper than the general. There has been talk of different drawers being available.
Now new colors please 🙏 🙂
Give me about 5 year and I'll buy one guaranteed
Sorry it says life time just not sure how true that is.
9000 dollars are you kidding me. OMG
Now BE honest with me HBF I have been to the Grey tool Manufacturing plant here in Canada where the new Husky Pro toll boxes that happen to look 100% like yours are made so Are you lying by saying they are made in China to hide your secret or are you doing what Husky Pro and Craftsman PRo are doing now and Contracting Canadas #1 premium tool manufacture to make Your tools and Tool chest as of may this year Craftsman Officinal hand tools will be made by Her by Grey tools so tell me the truth
This will bankrupt harbor freight even at a 200% margin. Harbor freight please rethink what your doing0
Lol these have been out for a while and nobody is going bankrupt
Overpriced Chinese junk
I can't what untill you guys get sued again and go out of business.
Lol when Snap On sued them, Snap On got embarrassed because they realized that their jack was actually made in the same factory in China as Harbor Freights Daytona. And you want them to go out of business, they provide tons of jobs in the US.
@@andybub45 who harbor freight or snap on. I meant I wanted harbor freight to be sewed.
@@andybub45, rather see snap on get litigated and go out as they like the other tool brands have became greedy. Thoses tool boxes they sell for $15,000 to $40,000 cost them under $10,000 to make.
Why I'm wanting to get the icon as I can get a box, a side locker, and hutch for $5,700 where cornwell has a sale going on a 72" box for $7,500 with a free hutch.
You can't even spell sued.
I can't wait until you learn how to spell sued!!
