I get that the cars are AWD with winter/nordic tyres and they're studded as well, but my god the speeds they fly round the track are insane, and the control as well!

Watched the coverage all weekend.
Ott was always a level above the rest of the pack.
Oliver Solberg is a champ in the making.
Loved his big send to make up for a mistake at the end of SS7.
And finally Mads was on another level with his insightful commentary.
Would have loved to see him competing against Mikklesen and Lappi.
Ott was also last on the road. Thats a massive advantage. Everyone seems to forget that. Not saying he didn't drive well but it's a huge advantage on snowy surfaces.
I've been really enjoying listening to Mads Ostberg's commentary during the Monte Carlo and Arctic Rallies. It's almost a shame he's going to be competing in the next one.

His contribution in commentary is priceless. He manages to explain things even idiots like me understand. I loved his explination of how Co pilots don't read notes by saying they sing them. When looking at that explination it makes the achievements of Thierry and Oliver all the more notable.

Omg. Rally drivers are nuts. Just tested new michelin winter tires on icy roads on a i30n in Bavaria. I used to drive Continental but I'm satisfied with michelin as well. Good grip on snow, okay in wet conditions. 🎉😂❤

I live in Denver, and everytime it snows I turn into these guys in my head. While everyone, especially the transplants, are doin' -20 the speed limit in an AWD Subaru, I'm doin' 70 in a 55 in a FWD '91 Dodge Dynasty. 😂 🚗==❄️ I just wish I had a hand E-brake instead of a foot pedal. Then I'd really be showin' out.

So, here‘s a question for you all: Should Loubet start worrying? Until now, he‘s made nothing of the chances given to him. He’s retired in Estonia, Monte Carlo & Sweden through driver error and was now thoroughly upstaged by Solberg. He seems like a borderline WRC talent at the moment and sending Oliver back to WRC2 would surely become a case of diminishing returns sooner rather than later.
He has a contract for the whole season and his car is prepared by 2C Competition and not Hyundai Motorsport, so I don't think he has to be worried now, but maybe for 2022.

Noticed all Hyundai's have no rear pumper. Is that new design, or intentionally made to fall off to give speed advantage?
I'm pretty sure the Hyundai's all started with the rear bumpers but they quickly got ripped off in the corners.
@@ikr9358 It wasn't like that before and it happens on all their cars. They could've been finding extra speed during test wit the rear pumpers

@Captain Blacktooth Computer game where I can drive formula with mouse only is likely very unrealistic. Speedmeter shows 200 km/h, but estimated speed is only 100 km/h.
@Captain Blacktooth I'm not anti Hamilton fan mate, he been a favorite of my since his time with McLaren and better than my favorite driver of all time Aryton Senna.
Rally isn't a easy sport and I'm sure Lewis would struggle until he gains experience with driving on gravel, Ice ,snow, dirt and tarmac.
Correct me if I'm wrong has Lewis ever raced on anything other than circuit racing? I think it would be a challenge for him and I'm sure he be successful given time.
2nd. We know F1 cars are different and challenging to drive. Look at watch Jim Clark, Gilles Villeneuve and Ayrton Senna could do in the cars of their era.
Kimi raced WRC and only one stage win. It's time we give the recognition WRC drivers deserve. From Carlos Sainz/Luis Moya to Sébastien Loeb/Daniel Elena and the many others.
Lastly stop jumping to conclusions that people are anti Hamilton when we are not.

此の様な極限の極寒スノーラリーはドライヴァーには過酷なラリーだったと思う〜暖房の無いラリーカー外は氷点下の気温車内と言えば除湿機能の無いフロントガラスの曇り止めは外気の取り入れで調整するコ・ドライヴァー。
で〜今日言いたいのははトヨタレーシングチーム参戦の(勝田)未だWRCのラリーに適応すら出来ず毎回ステージが始まれば事故る1回では無く何度見ても自爆しリタイヤ〜コ・ドライヴァーの心労が察せられる。
教科書で記された事だけの(左脳教育)故のデメリット。其の学校の指導者も頂け無い〜理由の１つが=(世界水準のレヴェルを知ら無い内弁慶の指導者言うなれば日本国内の試合数の少ないラリーでの経験者の引退選手の指導)
言い換えれば教科書に書かれた(技術一辺倒での指導だけ覚えても体験出来無いレーシングスクール(自動車教習所や免許更新で違反者が講習受けるのと殆ど変わらぬ指導)
此奴らがが日本国内で王者でも世界の最高峰と言われるWRCランクのジュニアでも勝て無い故に最高峰で戦えるだけのメンタルが無い。勝田の場合はスポンサーがトヨタと言う事の後押しでジュニアや3〜2のランクを飛び越えてプライベトチームで参戦。
実力も無い天性の感性も無い左脳教育での何か有れば技術だけに頼るそれは良しとしても其の技術も碌に身に付いて居無い技術で何が出来る。何度事故っても其の過程で一度足りとも危険回避操作も出来ず固まった状態で車自体が止まるのを待つ状態で本人は放心状態＝肉体と精神が離れた幽体離脱現象で2〜3分意識が戻らず。
WRC参戦して１年以上経つが此処迄で得た経験が何１つ活かされず学習能力ゼロ。スニネンやガスと同じレヴェルより更に低い。
ヤリスの車のポテンシャルに助けられて居る確率90％以上〜才能自体無いから当然連動して感性も磨かれるが其れも無いから未だ順応出来無いから(状況判断が出来無い)
即ち判断して行動に移る迄が3テンポ以上遅いそうすれば他の車より遅く成るのは当たり前〜故に焦るその結果又判断が遅く操作ミスを起こす〜阿保だ〜此処迄学習能力の低いドライヴァーが第一戦で活躍は無理
技術一辺倒で通用する世界では無い事を通常なら事故る度に悟り教えられて来る物だが阿保には立て板に水だな。
世界を知らぬ指導者が指導すればその指導者以下のレヴェルに迄にしか成れ無い。
