The Multifunctional Center "Spilno" helps children to feel support

The Multifunctional Center "Spilno" from UNICEF helps children in Dnipro to forget for a while about the reality of war, to feel support and joyful emotions.
Art therapy, DJing, sculpting, drawing, English and many other activities are held here, which are free for all children.
"They also communicate during the lessons,” art therapist Valeriia Biletska says. “With some kindergartens and schools closed, and learning conducted in remote or mixed formats, children lack opportunities for social interaction. If this continues, they might struggle with communication as they grow up. During classes, they play, learn interesting things about each other, and experience friendship and togetherness."
The Spilno Multifunctional Centre in Dnipro was opened with financial support from the Government of Japan and the National Committee of UNICEF in Germany. Similar centres are operating in Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv and Zaporizhzhia, and a new centre will soon open its doors for children and teenagers in Kryvyi Rih.
