Sometimes i almost forgot about the "projects" that were planned around school breaks. It seemed like once i was old enough to start pushing, we worked the calves over Thanksgiving break. Being there's getting to be more high school sports broadcasted on UA-cam or Tv, this is what some of the announcers are talking about being "farm strong" vs just being strong. Yes, there is a difference.
Thanks for the video. Interesting how you and the boys are redoing the stalls. They look nice when done. Your cows seem to like the higher stalls. Nice work Kip and boys. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Kip, I always found rather than brisket boards, it's better to load the beds up with plenty of sand, it'll get worked back overtime, so any cows trying to lie in backwards don't like lying down bank and those lying in the correct way lie back in the stall so they don't poop on the beds as much, along with the head rails keeping them in correct position. Cows lying backwards may take long time to correct if they have been used to it for years. Good job done thou!!
❤🎉thx for all u do on your channel! & dedication to your family involvement too. I have learned so much from u ... imagining I am there helping. Happy blessed new year to all your farm crew & family. Thx again! ❤🎉
Use a cable, not a strap. We used straps. They lasted about 2 years before they ripped and frayed out. Installed 1/2” Cables through the posts. have been in about 20 years now with minimal issues
When your putting the neck rail on. You should have a few pieces of angle iron the put on the top of the stall pipe at whatever it’s supposed to be set at just set it on there and push the clamps up to it and tighten the bolts. Save a little time.
Im excited for part 3. Your on the right track with raising them stalls. After you get sand in there level with the curb and the cows get used to them. They should be laying the correct way and be more comfortable laying down and getting up ! I love the passion you guys have to do better everyday!!!!
Drill baby drill guy is screwing the farmers with his tariffs, tariffs are paid by the hard working american , china already stopped buying soja beans and maize in 2025 worth 160 billion dollar.
Happy upcoming Birthday Julie, and many more healthy and blessed ones. Happy, healthy, prosperous, blessed and wonderful New Year, Kip and families. God Bless, stay well be safe.
I have seen one of those gas powered wrist twisters sir poor Lance!! Fee stalls are a continuous learning experience 👍👍. Maybe a bucket sand side shooter would be nice KIPP for the skid steer !??? Some fine looking help also👍👍. Thanks
Stalls looks great!! I might ask a great former employer to see this upgrade you are doing. They have 180 milking and use a free stall system with a Bou Matic parlor. Is your gas powered drill home made or made by a manufacturer?? I will keep following your videos!! Great job again. Happy 51 to your sis!!
Total team effort! That's what it's all about. God bless and thanks for bringing is along! Sealy Posturpedic......I luv it!

Good height Kip. Happy Birthday Julie! Have a great year.
If your worried about cows crawling through, put a 2 or 4 inch strap across on the wood posts, we did the same works really well, and it's cheap
Use a cable, not a strap. We used straps. They lasted about 2 years before they ripped and frayed out. Installed 1/2” Cables through the posts. have been in about 20 years now with minimal issues
Looks absolutely awesome. What a change.

Acidict feed makes sad cows
