The Credit Suisse Global Report reported that 1% of the world’s richest millionaires and billionaires right now, own 44% of the entire world’s wealth, the top 10 billionaires own $801 billion of assets which is larger than the GDP of Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Turkey, Taiwan, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Thailand, and Iran. Out of all the countries in the world, the United States happens to have the most millionaires by far.
In order to be considered part of the 1% of US earners, you’d need to make roughly $400,000 per year in income. That number actually varies state to state, for example here in Las Vegas, Nevada, you’d need to make roughly $469,328 to be considered 1%, while if you’re in New York City, you need to make $702,559. What’s crazy to me though, is that the President of the most powerful country in the world, the United States, takes a salary of only $400,000 per year. While that’s still a lot of money, it’s far below what some people make from their jobs. All of these following 8 jobs can make well above $400k a year and into the legendary 7 digit million dollar figure.
#1: Healthcare jobs: anesthesiologists, plastic surgeons, cardiologists, and neurosurgeons. If you can stomach the work, the grueling hours, and the emotional effects of how important your job is to saving someone’s life, you can earn an annual salary of $400k to $500k and up. The downside is that you need 13 years of studying after high school. The average debt that these professions hold is anywhere between $200,000 to $300,000.
#2 Tech. The average salaries here are easily six figures. Even a software engineer intern at Google makes over $7,000 a month starting pay. The big salaries belong to the senior software developers that work for FANG. Facebook, Apple, Amazon , Netflix and Google. If you’re a tech lead, you can make over half a million dollars a year and more after bonuses and incentives. This was my first choice when I was considering a job. The downside to this job isn’t the education or the cost, instead, it's a just you cannot learn unless you have some basic interest in doing so. You can’t force yourself to learn coding, you need to have a drive and passion for it.
#3 Finance. Specifically, an investment banker. If you watched my video about the stock market where I talked to Raoul Paul, that's the guy that pulls in well over a million dollars a year at the height of his career. If you’re really smart about it, you can be a managing director making well over a million dollars in bonuses alone in about 10 years. Three years as an analyst, three years as an associate, 3 years as a VP, and another year or so as an executive director. That’s the best case scenario, according to efinancialcareers.com. The average time it takes to become MD is 17.5 years.
#4 Law. There are lots of different flavors of lawyer to choose from. If you do a quick google search you’ll see the highest paid ones by salary are corporate lawyers, tax attorneys, trial attorneys, IP attorneys and medical lawyers. But in my opinion, one of the highest paid specialty lawyers are class action lawyers. The average debt here is $145,000 and it's an extremely high stress career with very high rewards.
#5 Consulting. I got to consult on Now You See Me 2 and spend two months with the cast and train them how to do cardistry. Probably one of the coolest life experiences ever and consulting contracts can easily be well over a million dollars.
#6 Day Trader. While not exactly a position that you apply for, it does closely relate to a hedge fund manager. Except in this case, instead working for a banking giant, you’re working for yourself.
#7 Realtor / Real Estate Investing. Two ways you can go about this one, you can either leverage your money by buying houses, renting them out, and selling them for a profit or you can become a luxury real estate agent and become a millionaire. Best examples are Graham Stephan and Meet Kevin.
#8 Social Media person. Whether it’s instagram, Facebook, or UA-cam, you can make over a million dollars a year making videos from the comfort of your own home.

Well. Depending on your luck, you could get to be a millionaire in the stock market in as little as a day. Recently I am certain many people on wsb became millionaires by simply buying calls and holding them for more than a day. This profession comes with the caveat that you need to have capital to begin with

Now that we have NFTs, your items are now legitimized and your legendary items will never be replaced. You don’t need luck, you just need determination to learn how to monetize your time spent.

    • @salvarious
      @salvarious 4 роки тому +2

Me too. I've worked hard at primarily 3 companies. I lost my first job after 4 years because recession, bounced around & lived off retirement until I worked at a factory 5 to 6 days 10 to 12 hours a day. Saved my money again & moved to Vegas working normal hours for once. I don't make enough to save well & now I'm super bored. I was never able to take many days off & rarely got nice things.
What I find is you need to be able to save money in order to do stuff or make changes. Even then, exchanging time for money makes you an indentured servant to those who pay you. Its not just a paycheck, its your stability, your health, & your time. Its basically your freedom & you sacrifice it to be told what your worth.
Don't give up though -I'm not. One day you can break the cycle. I missed 2 chances to make a lot of money. I had a bunch of Tesla stock (about $1400 total) back in 2011 & like 14 Bitcoins back in 2015. I messed both times up & lost all that potential. The way I see it, you just got to get it right 1 time. If you fail then, then its a profound learning experience you otherwise can't quit get from a YT video. You can use that experience to try again. Also, don't get married.

Lizandro when you do the math, the lost time of no job and not investing in their 20’s is big. But most doctors get rich after working 10 years so it pays off huge and more.

I managed to land a healthcare job that pays almost $1000 per 48 hours, on weekends Fri night to Sun nite. I trade during the week. I know it's not a life changing amount, but I don't have a lot of expensive training. And I live on only $1000 a month....

It is really difficult this period to see a trader who's experienced and trustworthy, even the trader that one could trust cant perform well in the red market i lost £3,000 just last week to a weak traders strategy.

Would advise you to reach out to my broker ( Kyle Holt Karens ) her strategies work and are really profitable, the rules are clear and all you have to do is follow them. If you have the determination to stick with the plan and focus on the long term, you will make real money, just search her name online and send her mail through her legit website

So with the whole making money Casey Neistat made an argument against people who say you don’t need to make a ton of money and that money doesn’t solve your problems. He started by saying yes, yes it does. He was broke poor and rose up to what he is now and said it is WAYYYYYY easier now. Money does solve ALOT of problems.
Maybe it doesn’t solve all of them, but it gives the peace of mind so you don’t have to worry about how you are paying for your house or food: the basic necessities of life
