    Off all the regional splits/majors/etc competitions I've watched Gen.G play the last few years, I thought this was the shakiest one you guys played -- and you still won it all. That says a lot about how good you guys are. Still, with all the shaky moments, you guys still performed very well, especially defensively and with your passing game. Has to be tough going from LAN back to online quals, too. Whatever. You are the champs. Ho hum..you are so good. Congrats!! Now, go beat some invisible people in 1v1. :) :)

    I will say.. what set Gen.G apart from all the other teams is cohesion. Their passing plays were exquisite and they consistently got them throughout different series. If they keep working on that, it's what's sets them apart for sure and they'll easily win against any team with that level of cohesive team play.

    In the background gameplay why do you rarely keep the ball close to you? I feel you were slamming it most of the time, is there a reason for this that

    • @gjermundnorumbugge7373
      @gjermundnorumbugge7373 6 місяців тому

      It is bad to control the ball too close against good teams too often in 3v3, because you are constantly getting challed. If you have a really good heavy hit that it is more awkward for the opponents than for ur m8s. That is really good in 3v3. The top teams have such a solid rotation that challenges happen constantly and you can only really control it if the opponents have messed up and give you space. in 1v1 keeping it close is very good since there is so much space, in 2v2 it is slightly less viable to do it all the time, and in 3s ur getting constantly challenged. That does not mean you cannot control the ball in 3s often, but this is why it is often times not the best option. If you get challed and the ball pings in a random direction it is gonna be quite bad for ur teammates behind you unless you can take a good 50 back to a teammate.

    • @gjermundnorumbugge7373
      @gjermundnorumbugge7373 6 місяців тому

      an example of where they could have taken it back and controlled the posetion, but where it will actually be bad is 6:37. If he controls that ball back, then they will be stuck on defense because he will let all of G2 move down the field and take space. By slamming it forward G2 will be pinned back in their half, and GenG can set up to challenge and keep the attack going. The only other good play there would have been to slam the ball hard to the left so firstkiller can get a clean posetion. It is really hard to do that tho, because of Jacks boost total

    Gen.G vs G2 is David VS Goliath. They can take the win against any team. Y’all finesse them and drop random games. Congratulations on the regional win, but I hope to see more out of you and GenG. I think you need to work on your mechanics for the London regional and that the team should incorporate more FirstKiller outplays. I know Chronic doesn’t get much of the attention but he’s a great second man, leading the regional in scoring.
