  • Taking a look and sort of review of the Andonstar AD203 Digital Handheld microscope. Using it to examine cutting and drill bits as well as just general shop activities that need magnification. I should have said in the video but only realized it later, it records continuously but divides the full video into 1 minute avi's which is a little weird but not a huge deal.

    That's a pretty awesome toy/tool 😁. The more I watched the more I want one. I bet I could read the dials on my Atlas with that! 🤣 Thanks for sharing, Eddie!
    Cheers! 👍😁👍

      You might need the microscope and optivisors for the atlas dials.

    Hello Eddie,
    I am doing my best not to buy anything as I have spent so much recently but this really does seem super useful and quite a reasonable price... Thanks for sharing...
    Take care.

      lol, Good deal Max! I hope you did not film it in the last pulley video, I was saving that for later tonight. I save all the good ones to watch on my downtime when I can really pay attention. But it would be embarrassing if I missed it, lol. All the best! Eddie

    Thanks for video I was considering something like this to setup tools on my lathe. Quality looks good for price. How did you record video? Did you record over usb or internal?

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  2 роки тому +1

      I recorded to a removable sd card. Not sure if it has a USB out or not but don't think it does. It is a bit strange in that it records continuously but then divides the video into 1 minute segments that you then need to stich together or watch one after another. It is kind of annoying but honestly most of what I recorded was not more than a minute long any way. Thanks!

      @@theeddies it said in ebay description that it can record on pc probably as webcam. Then it can be used with OBS studio to record videos.

    Neat 8-) battery life?

    • @theeddies
      @theeddies  2 роки тому +1

      I recorded about 15 minutes of video, had it on for about an hour, dad had it on for an hour or so and the battery indicator has not moved. It says it has a 1800mAh rechargeable lithium battery, so I would guess a couple hours maybe less recording video. I should have said in the video but only realized it later, it records continuously but divides the full video into 1 minute avi's which is a little weird but not a huge deal.
