Sarana beat Carlsen and Nakamura. What a giant killer...
And Dubov. All back to back games. 😂😂😂
11:21 the moment Hikaru peek at the clock and realizes he can no longer flag down his opponent after his dream stalemate-queen-sacrifice didn't materialize.
8:56 the moment where Hikaru missed Qc4+ Kg1 Qg8+ winning the queen, the game, and probably the title...
You are right, mate!
Indeed, and the EMT's would have to be called in when Sarana has a heart attack.
nice one!
a very stupid comment
if we consider opportunities
punctual losses... leaving the rest of what happened equal ,
we can change history an infinite number of times
Daamn!
very impressive how Sarana still managed to win this in so bad time trouble
12:00 Probs to Maria aka PhotoChess for setting up the pieces.
Hikaru didn't protect his pawns so the end game became 4v2 pawns
Sarana ripped nakamura material down good. solid game boys
Incredible to watch these pros compete!!!
Nice video 👍
11:41 - what was that at the end? they semed to be having a discussion about something? anyone?
about 1:43 Ne5, Nakamura said white instead had Bh3, attacking the rook on c8, and forcing Qxc7 next, which Sarana apparently missed. "Tw I played ...c5" - he said, explaining his next move
But it is nice that they both sit reasonably still and do not nervously touch something such as a piece.
wat
Can anyone get what did they say after the game
Pretty sure something in chess language
Nakamura risk too many pawns in that endgame.
great defense by sarana world class player
Why at 9.10 black dont make Qxh3 ??
11:13 Kg3 was winning I guess. Forces queen trade if not mate in 1 threatened
Go sarana
a lot of backseat grandmasters in the comments
As usual :P
From what I'm seeing, Chessbase India seems to attract a lot of toxic people and people that only come for the drama
Karma is beautiful for Count Drawcula! 😎
These chess handshakes are really TERRIBLE!!! Shaking opponent´s hand and looking somewhere away? Hikaru, Hikaru....
ok chill man
Zero eye contact 😲
geniuses are often socially akward and a little "weird" for the normal person lol
@@gater6090 and so are chess players
@@gater6090 or like, every nerd in existence
11:00 hikaru missed the h pawn after Qh3
It would force a queen trade tho
nah its mate in two, Qe7+ then Qg7#
very good
Please add virtual board also
Hikaru attacked but lost out to good defence...
Hikaru forgot to resign again. Playing the clock as he always does
He was trying to get some sort of perpetual check. He knew he couldn’t flag his opponent because of the time increment
@@michaelgeorge4643 not true. he had time down to a few seconds at one point, so keep in mind dirty flagging is always on his mind, you are wrong. It's quite stupid of you to not be aware of that, you must be new to chess, and what's worse you think you know things. I will pray for you.
@@jonadam4233 not really, many players trying find endless check to draw in loosing position to save their games
@@jonadam4233 Dude lmao I've been playing chess competitive for 15 years... do you think I'm unaware how a flag works? This isn't online chess, this is real life chess with a time increment. There's nearly zero chance of a flag. He is fighting for a draw
@@jonadam4233 He was trying to wait for a blunder lol. You are new to chess is seems
he only blunder the water bottle
This is Draw or Lose for Hikari?
A loss
😊👍👍
Why chess players readjusting their pieces to make them look pretty even if they know that they will change their positions very soon
Cause it helps them visualize their mental patterns.
Нервы!
When the pieces are out of position it can throw you off
Because it looks pretty, you said it..
It makes you feel good which in turn helps
Why youtube commentators ask stupid questions
That shirt is too distracting 😂
🙄
And After all the bottle suicide!
Sad story of water bottle
If I had a penny for every time the position repeated then I would become a millionaire
Oh my days hikaru missed the win, if he went qc4+, kg1, then qg8+ that wouldve led to a queen capture
The way how Nakamura shakes hand at the end looked disgusting
i sometimes wish someone would randomly throw a dog onto one of those boards as they're playing
Animal cruelty, you wanna go jail bro
@@newgod8828 you def got that virgin energy
The most evilest comment ever. 🤣🤣🤣 i sometimes think that too. 🤝
These guys are so mental that they’d quickly reconstruct the positions and keep going. No joke.
But why a dog? A live halibut could clear the board even better.
Next move is checkmate, right? I am bad at chess
If Hikaru moved his King it would have been. He could have stalled with a Queen move and then blocked with it after Sarana checked with his Queen, but that would have just led to an exchange and he would have had no chance in stopping that pawn push with just his King.
I think you're right 👍 this player he won against Magnus and Hekaru I think he is good and underrated
No, but it's lost for Nakamura
Couldn't even win the only time format he's good at
is 2768 classical fide rating not good enough for you? What's your fide ranking if you don't mind me asking?
@@vercot7000 2768
@@vercot7000 jokes I'm 100
it is going to be fun watching hikaru slide down the rating ladder. people will like this because he is such a weird and yucky human.
Hikaru Salty because his prime is already in decline
His prime was in 2015 why would he be salty lol
He seems much happier and confident now his stream has taken off, he's just salty cause he lost an important game
