if you are towing trailers that far that have been in a flood you should repack the wheel bearings before heading out.
I agree with you about this camper, it was a steal.
You wouldn't believe how some mop and glow...can make even new vynl plank flooring...really POP. We use it after new floor installs everytime....

Paper items show no signs of water damage. Also no sign of any water marks. Hurricane flood waters are not clean.
Check those wheel bearings for water intrusion, brake magnets corrosion, gives you some indication how long it sat in water.
Micheal you could save some money on rent and use this while your house is built? If It sleeps six then your family would squeeze in there. Pure motivation to get the house build finished I think? Take care Brothers and can I wish you a Happy New Year. 👍👍.
Salt water flooding might actually be better at preventing mold than fresh water flooding, but it is very corrosive to any kind of metal, especially wiring. Also, once fiberglass insulation gets wet, it never insulates as well, also tends to hold on to water and cause, rot etc. So, I want to know what kind of insulation. The pull out worked. Miraculous.
There's an old saying, " You are better to be born lucky than rich" and you guys are exact proof that this old saying is spot-on. I hope this run continues, great buy guys. Here in Australia, that's a $120,000 trailer!

I don’t think you understand that the camper is worthless in the USA because of the damage history. It’s considered unsafe to ever use it again. And no insurance companies will offer insurance

Wow you guys are lucky. You got a brand new camper that needs no work for probably $20k under retail! You should have checked out that blue and black smaller fifth wheel to the side, it looked really nice!

No damages, contest the destruction tiltle with your local DMV and get the destruction removed!
Dealers claim everything on lot damaged so they can get the most from 'storm danage" claims
you can put a shop lien on that and get a clean title, i have done it for before in georgia and new york.

Sale it for just in state use in Tennessee. As long as you don't pull over state lines here you can run with no tag and bill of sale.
Have tried the export market? Something like this would go down well in Europe.
How does it tow (like does it sway bad or pull weird) without stabilizer/sway bars on the tongue/hitch? Like new...but the title brand won't allow it to be towed so how are you able to.....just risking it? And since this one is questionable why it (title) was changed and not damaged, can it not be challenged and given a clearance? Has to be a way to reverse title on this.
You can still tow it no problem, and get a HD truck you don't need those silly stabilizer bars

Can't sell a brand new camper that has been in a flood so it makes sense why it was salvaged.

Some states you dont have to tag them to have them on the road I know in Kentucky you dont have to tag a trailer but you can if you want to

Can you not get it re-inspected and then given a clean bill of health? It's just a shame, as it looks like it's in absolutely fantastic condition and it would be a shame if it couldn't be used for the purpose it was built for.

Just because it looks clean doesn’t mean it’s safe. This camper is worthless in the USA because of the damage history.

I bet you it was a new stock on a dealer lot. This explains why they junked it too. They could never sell it as a new camper even with minimal damage and insurance has to replace it and auction it.

Always cross your tow chains, make them not too long and not too short they then act like a basket too catch the tongue if it falls off the ball!!!!!

How much that works for mexico
Salvage destruction means no title can be issued ever and no insurance coverage. Not a total deal breaker but for some one keeping its not bad depending on price.
If you change a few things on it, there is way to get an assemblers title on it.

You can see the water line in the under bed storage at 04:27 Ridiculous it's got a destruction title though there's plenty of life left in that. Insurance company or trader puling a fast one no doubt.
No fast one. The company that insurers the campers or the manufacturer of the campers dictate what happens in cases of natural disaster damage. They can stipulate whether the flooded trailers are to be destroyed or may be sold with a "Destruction Title". Meaning, the seller as well as the buyer are aware this unit was involved in a natural disaster, flood and they can't be held accountable for defects.
@Bernard Owens Does it really mean they can't be used on the road though? Seems a crazy waste as I'll sure that puts their value well below cost alone.
@Lee oMurchu as I wrote, this is letting all parties involved know why the sellers price is cheap and no expectations when it comes to warranty. This is a trailer, not an engine driven vehicle. You can register an axle and a hitch. The registration just means it has some sort of Vin or serial number for tracking, ownership and liability.
@Bernard Owens I'm well aware it's not an engine driven trailer. One of the guys in the video mentioned as it had a destruction title it couldn't be on the road, so could be left on site. Your haste to assume I'm an idiot and be a smart arse overrode your ability to answer a simple question. 🤷♂️

Looks like it was New on a Dealer Lot, so it was salvaged, they could not sell it as new.
That never was camped in. That sheet on the bed is the shipping sheet for people to lay on the bed.
And ins. Payed out on this unit why? The tires got wet? That's why the rains go up lazy adjusters. Probly every in stock unit got totaled.
