What is the best ball to catch shiny Feebas/Milotic in?
Lure ball
Luxury or Love ball (if it's female) lure or dive ball for males.
I like the Dive and Net ball for these or even the Premier ball
Level matches best and animation
Quick Ball.

Also worth noting... if you have access to Pokémon home and also either of the BDSP games you can transfer the feebas across, evolve in that game via poffins and then transfer back via Pokémon home! For those of you who (like me) don't have any local friends to trade with (my friends don't have online features and only play Pokémon with once in a blue moon when together) hope this helps! ❤

Heres a way easier sandwich:
1 cucumber
1 pickle
3 more cucumbers
Any 2 herbas that arent x2 sweet/sour, or sweet + sour together
Sparkling 3
Title 3
Encounter 3
(All water type).
Got my Feebas without an outbreak somehow first sandwich
The x3 ingredient after the pickle changes depending on the type.
you don't want encounter since it's in an outbreak and reduce your odds of finding Pokemon from the said outbreak
Easy is a bit of a statement. I had to skip 5 YEARS just to get my first Feebas outbreak.

This is the absolute luckiest I have ever been in any Pokemon game since way back in Pokemon Yellow - I got the Feebas outbreak on my first reset, and then when I dropped in to the room where they spawn, the shiny was just swimming round straight up! Couldn't believe it! I snagged it in a Love Ball 💕

you can make the same sandwich powers with the same herba at 5:10 with just cucumber and either wasabi or curry powder. Wasabi and curry powder are Humongo powers best friend it always helps and its easier than tower sammies
I bred a shiny Feebas this morning! She is in a love ball. 😊
‘Easy’ isn’t the word I would say for this method. The Feebas outbreak is super rare and I couldn’t get it to spawn
I had an outbreak last night after using a water encounter sandwich. I wasn’t truly to get a shiny then though. But now i do want one.

Ez if you cheese it with messing with time/date while that's a thing but Nintendo will nerf it as they did with swsh
If you don't have a friend or second switch but do have Brilliant Diamond and/or Shining Pearl, you can transfer the feebas to those games, max out its beauty contest stat via poffins, then level it up once and it evolves into milotic.
What worked for me to solve the issue of the outbreaks not refreshing on the map was to close the map, refresh time, wait for the pop up of new outbreaks happening and THEN opening the map, not need to fly. Also, I noticed that if you by mistake click first on sync via internet and then refresh the time, the oybtraks won't refresh, so you gotta do it all over again
I've been trying to reset for the outbreak for almost 3 hours and no luck. Feeling discouraged, but will keep trying!

If you have access to pokemon home and SwSh there's an everyday shining spot spawn of prism scale in SwSh just roto bike swimming around South lake Miloch. Just have feebas held the item and do a trade evo and trade back there as the held item won't pass through home. There's also a rare spawn milotic in foggy weather swimming around there in place of the regular gyarados in other weather.
After 1 hour of resetting for a Feebas outbreak, followed by another 9 hours, 5 shiny male Feebas and a shiny Barboach in that time, I have finally caught my female shiny Feebas😭😭😭
Prism scale is also on the beach in fellhorn gorge in reg pokeball. Top right water pool on the southern beach.
Random item find not 100% there mine was a pokeball pick up at that spot 😂
There is an easier method, there is a place in the Wishcast pool that spawns then very quickly (behind one of the stalagmites, facing the back of the cave it's the one to the left), then to respawn and despawn them you just travel between the pools
Do they spawn there regularly? Because I can’t get an outbreak to appear.
Depends in the place that the outbreak is, if it is in this place has to be this way, if are in te other pool ypu talking you can do it that way
@@badcrampsgramps1890was more than 3 hours of soft resets to get one and used lvl 3 encounter sandwich, almost gave up, at least still had one shiny from that sandwich, now gota shiny hunt one with a cool mark in a cool ball

Is there a way to make the feebas actually spawn? I have the outbreak but all that spawns are barboach 😒

This is certainly much better than how I did it, though i got an outbreak by luck in the second date skip after finishing the DLC. Might try it again sometime for a Milotic with the jumbo mark.
Outbreak is not the easiest method at all, just make a lvl 3 sandwich and when you enter the cave, go the the left wall right in the middle and sit there while barboach and Feebas spawn, and when you reach max spawns, exit the cave and re-enter to despawn what was in there and repeat. I got my shiny Feebas in 15 minutes this way
The date swap bs is just extra work too and Nintendo always nerfs it eventually look at swsh
Literally not true. You get 1-3 feebas per respawn. It’ll take forever with this method. You just got super lucky

So AJP (Austin John Plays) theorizes that Encounter Power from a sandwich MAY influence the mass outbreaks you get when you roll over a day, so MAYBE try Encounter Power: Water 2 or 3 to see if that increases the chance of Feebas outbreaks???
Again, this is just theory that one person has been fiddling with, so I have no way to know if it’s true or not
So, every time feebas shows up on the surface outbreaks it's always the other fish when I actually head down. Even if it shows feebas on the map when in the cave
For those that don't know, you can reset the outbreaks without time traveling by going to change the date but not changing anything, then pressing OK.

this is a great method !! however i dont think ill do this bc i dont have anyone that i trust to trade to get milotic lol. i got it normally in a raid instead
for the issue of outbreaks not spawning properly on the map, generally just closing and reopening my map has instantly fixed it each time. hope that helps!

Started this hunt today and I'm gonna catch myself a few different ones. One in a luxury ball, one in a dream ball and one in a lure ball

Love ball is my favorite ball to have Milotic.
Caught mine in a friend ball to breed one in bdsp I like the ball effect 😎
I used Love Ball for Mewtwo and now it has hearts when it comes out. I didn’t know it had special effects for different balls.

I wanted this shiny pokemon so bad but couldn’t spawn a Feebas outbreak after like 300ish time skips so I decided to hatch them eggs and got a female one in the first batch😊😊😊 guess my luck was in another method after all 😂

it took me 850 eggs with 2 shinies in there before I got my female in a love ball

I will say trying this while there is a Mass Outbreak Event (i.e. set pokemon are more frequent in outbreaks) really makes it more difficult. 😅
I did this. Got 3 shiny’s in 1 sandwhich. They also spawn in the whishcash area, but change nothing to these instructions except to look behind you. I got 2 in there.
I have a shiny Milotic from fish hunting Feebas in ORAS but I might do this for a second
tbh I’d rather go back and do that method than all the steps in this DLC lol. The fish method felt more reliable especially w a poke that has suction cup
I bred a shiny feebas with almost perfect stats the sp. Attack is very good
i have almost been doing this most of the day, but found another guide by someone called Yunemon, if u just look stand in the second cave with the whishcash in one of the corners they will spawn like crazy in there! Now imma keep shiny hunting, thanks for the vid! edit I GOT MINE WOO!!

Why bother with the whole mass outbreak setup? I haven't done a TON of shiny hunting, maybe 6 species, but a level 2 sparkling power and like 10 minutes searching has always produced what I'm after. What further benefit does all the setup for an outbreak provide?

I had the same issue, but then I found a different "sweet spot" in the cavern than the one in this video and it triggered a massive spawning of Feebas every time. Try sitting at different spots and wait for a few seconds to see if Feebas start to spawn. If you've found the "sweet spot" they'll spawn pretty quickly and many of them
My "sweet spot" was in the section with the wishcash, and I sat along the wall opposite the wishcash and they'd spawn across the room from me
Milotic can be found in Terra raids. I found one five days ago, tried to defeat it 8 times but didn't made it. None has appear since. Luck is not with me but at least i found a Politoad, better than nothing 🙂
Oh easy all you have to do is Load your game, then turn off your Nintendo switch, then do the hocky poky, then your gonna want to turn the game back on. Then switch to Pokémon bdsp, catch 30 bidoofs, then trade them all to Pokémon home, then your gonna wiggle your left toe, then load Pokémon scarlet or violet back up. You gonna get all those bidoof into your save file then your gonna fly to your house and release all 30 bidoofs so your mom has food to prep for later. Then turn of your game and turn it back on. Run to the highest point and jump off because you will never have that shiny feebas 😐

2 days in still no outbreak
I found the shiny when I was trying to find a modest nature. I didnt even use a sandwhich. Literally only 17 feebas in.. bam. Shiny Feebas. Still didnt find a Modest Nature but I'll blow a mint on a Shiny.
Ps you dont need ANY of the extra stuff after cucumbers, just that and 2 spicy herbas gets you the same results
This video was super helpful I got the feebas outbreak but wasn’t sure what to do because I couldn’t picnic anywhere! But managed to get my first shiny feebas in under 30 mins and my second one about an hour later. Without making any sandwiches. Very happy to complete this line as shinies and to also not have to do this outbreak again 😅

Hi osirus, u dont need to much ingredients, just 6 rice and: 1 salt 1 cheese creme or 1 salt with 1 spicy sausage
you can just stay in the Pond with all the prongs. just go to one side.. and a bunch of feebas will spawn on the other side
Right now this hunt doesn't seem feasible. There's definitely a bug with forcing mass outbreaks, and it's making it a little difficult.
I get the feebas outbreak and as soon as I drop down to the pool where the feebas are the outbreak changes to barboach and no more feebas 😢
This is really easy to hunt without a sandwich.
Instead of camping the entrance to the pool, run through and jump on the wall. After all feebas spawn, rinse and repeat!

I managed to get a shiny alolan vulpix by breeding my Arceus one with a ditto, which before the new content I couldn’t bring to scarlet.
I just wanted to breed some and the eggs kept coming so i ended up with like two boxes of eggs. I random traded some and got a dusclops randomly that evolved into dusknoir right away.
A lot of the evolutions in this content seem to require trading. Which sucks if you have no friends.
But it’s nice that a random trade can evolve them. I might random trade some later.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like feebas can evolve through random trade. Unless both have feebas with the crystal?
if you want the trade evolutions just for dex purposes, they can also randomly be found as tera raid bosses
I keep getting the feebas outbreak and it's only spawning 2. Another thing too it's spawning tons of barboach and there's not a outbreak of barboach on my map.

Even easier than this, if you own a copy of ORAS and an active pokemon bank account, you can chain fish a shiny feebas and trade it up!
Chain fishing (at least for me) has been much more reliable than the absolute randomized agony that is date skipping for a feebas 😵🎣

With how much breeding I did in BDSP to get my 6iv perfect milotic I don't think I can ever replace it. Breeding with a 4iv ditto took hundreds of eggs to get the 6iv milotic. I might breed it with my 6iv medusa ditto for a shiny but idk yet maybe after I complete the dlc with this one
I have a shiny Milotic I got via trade on Pokemon Home, it's shiny and was used fairly heavily in competitive, going by it's ribbons
I found a prism scale in the grass along the most eastern edge of the Mossfell Confluence heading north
I've done well over 10 hours worth of time resetting and have yet to see a singe feebas outbreak.
