I just bought one. It's not a bad phone. The battery lasts me 2 days on full usage. Awesome video playback. Good sound for music. Call quality on network is good. Video calling is good. The camera takes really good photos. Overall so far is a good phone. The only downside is the weight yet it's the battery.
Wow only 2 full days? Better faster phones that will last you 2 full days also withfull usage. I was hoping longer. Battery must suck. My s21 last 3 and half days full days full usage.
Well, I'm sold. I need one! I'm a very clumsy person, and I also work a lot with renovations and my hands are big. This phone would be perfect! I can light up a whole room, measure it, and blast music loudly while working. And the battery! The battery and the ruggedness are the main thing I'm after. 13200mAh! That's impressive! I'm going to make a purchase soon! What an impressive device, holy moly! Also thank you for this review, I've watched other reviews, but I got the feeling they were just talking badly about it and complained too much. But you, sir! You gave an honest and delicate review. And I thank you for it!
I ordered one a few days ago. I plan on hiking the entire 2000 miles of the Appalachian, and I needed something that would survive the trip. This has the map, compass, camera, and endurance. (ironically I don't care so much for the phone aspect, as I make like 2 calls a month) As a standard 'glass slab' usually lasts me around 5+ years of use, and a 3000mAh battery lasts me sometimes up to a week, I see having this a long time.
@@onecrazywheel I did get it. The thing is a rock, as such the weight is something to get used to. The battery lasts 10+ days unless I decide to play games on it. Camera is good enough, and functions under water. Storage enough to lasts for quite a while. The max screen brightness is a bit on the low side, need to use shade on bright days. Compatibility-wise radios work with most carriers, but Verizon I know refuses to support this brand, although being within spec(they prefer brands and devices they can control). I generally use Wi-Fi to update my maps and messages, but if I had to guess You'd be best using a test SIM card from Google or another open subscription phone service, rather than a contracted major one.

Sure enough I got it for the $299 sale price which was absolutely lovely. I'm currently deployed overseas in poland at the moment and I was looking into good rugged phones without spending a fortune and ulefone has it made. BUT the absolutely most important thing I liked that your said was it was using a Verizon sim card!! That was the biggest concern when looking at these phones and whether or not it can be used on my carrier. Low and behold you are the first to give a pretty good accurate review and mention that so thank you very much!

I'm a bit old school, so I'm glad to see the 3.5 mm audio jack included on this and that a headset isn't needed for the radio. I had a blackview 9500 Plus with a 10000mah battery, but this blows that one out of the water with the fhd display and ram/storage combo. Amazing that you have the option to even extend that more. Great set of extras too. With the size of the unit, it doesn't really need a snap on case, but I like the idea of the kickstand. NFC, wireless charging, reverse charging. I've never seen such a complete package in a rugged phone, and a great price point. Thanks again for this informative overview.

I bought the armor 13 after watching this video, and I must say that I like the phone very much. The only dislike that I had with the purchase was the so-called 33W charger. To me that was the only gimmicky thing out the box. My phone would talk almost all day just to charge with that charger. Luckily, I had saved the charger from an uleFhone 3WT which was the European style charger and that is what gave me fast charging that did not take all day for the phone to reach 100%.

Nice vid, Can you make a hotspot out of it? I did not see the icon in the top-menu, but the function might be tucked away somewhere. If not that would be a dealbreaker for me, though I like it very much.
I still own a Ulefone Armor X5 and I've used it as a hotspot several times. This makes me confident that the Power Armor 13 definitely has that feature.

Yes i have had 3 different Ulefone Power Armor 13 and all three of them have had loose SIM trays so it is like that on all Ulefone Power Armor 13. But it won't break, it's just a bit flimsy.
I Asked Ulefone About The What Type Of Screen Protection Does This Device Have? Ulefone Replied That This Phone Have Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. But Due To Their Is No Agreement Between Corning And Ulefone . The Ulefone Not Mention It.
@@jaredmcclelland1368 that's very good news. I've been researching so much and these phones don't seem too friendly to CDMA. Some bands get covered but it's hard to feel confident while reading spec after spec. I'm on spectrum which uses Verizon. It adds that extra fear that it won't be compatible. (ended up calling my provider and they only support like 5 brands so I'm about to change to something with GSM support anyway)

Has google doesn't has the Huawei problem but as a former Huawei user my last phones of Huawei mate 20 pro (last mate with Google) and Mate 30 pro i was shocked with this phone in a bad way because doesn't has music player video player gallery in other words has nothing you must download all the apps separately. And the worst part is that I was used to all the great apps of Huawei like virus cleaner and most important the backup data app. Ulefone doesn't has any app so you can backup fast your files to your computer and not only photos you can't backup apps contacts calls messages stetting like Huawei app. Doesn't has a theme app like huawei and so on. Battery is good but as a regular user only last 1 day and a half or maybe 2 days at most. Does it worth tho choose this phone just because of the battery I don't think so because you need 3+ hours to charge it and mist phones in these days you need 1 hour and a half so is basically the same
People need to calm down with raising the wattage, I hate 33W as it is, we do far less damage to the cells of the battery by using less wattage, thus making the battery last even longer, thus saving you money in the long run.
Samsung Xcover Pro, also rugged just like this phone and with the removable battery feature, awesome phone as well, and a 4005mah battery. Not as big as the Power Armor 13 but still good enough
The reverse wireless charging is cool but ultimately useless if you dont have anything with wireless charging lol. And yet, can the phone itself be charged with a wireless charger?

Nice vid, Can you make a hotspot out of it? I did not see the icon in the top-menu, but the function might be tucked away somewhere. If not that would be a dealbreaker for me, though I like it very much.
I still own a Ulefone Armor X5 and I've used it as a hotspot several times. This makes me confident that the Power Armor 13 definitely has that feature.
@@KumeOzoro whats a hotspot ?
Whats a hotspot ?
@@onyemaonyeike8962 it's a function that allows you turn your phone into a modem, such that you connect other devices to it and those devices use its internet connection. Same principles as when you connect to a wifi.
@@onyemaonyeike8962 a personal wifi network to share your internet connection with another phone or tablet or laptop. 😉
Hope to a Pro Version of this Phone. With 5G:) Can this Phone Handel Salt water?

How to order
This is gonna be my next phone 🤩
The whole point of this phone is not needing a case it’s a brick.
yes, it is a rugged phone with powerbank installed :D I love it.

Hi Chris I've been searching online for 4 hours now to see if this phone will work with Verizon I've tried contacting Verizon but they only answer the phone if you have an account.
I really want this phone and I want to kick T-Mobile to the curb because of the BS over the years and billing issues not to mention the worst service ever it got super bad after they installed all the new antennas here so now it barely works at all so I want to go with Verizon so do you have this phone working with Verizon
Hi, i just bought this phone, is normal for the sim.tray to be loose when i pull it out?
Yes i have had 3 different Ulefone Power Armor 13 and all three of them have had loose SIM trays so it is like that on all Ulefone Power Armor 13. But it won't break, it's just a bit flimsy.
Please, help, how I put app icons on home pages? I can't find it :/ on my old CAT S60 it was super easy. Here, I'm lost...
Can you send a screenshot how it looks now? I'd help
@@BananaSlug911 thanks, I managed to fix it :)
Great phone, not so sure about the price coming from China
I Asked Ulefone About The What Type Of Screen Protection Does This Device Have?
Ulefone Replied That This Phone Have Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. But Due To Their Is No Agreement Between Corning And Ulefone . The Ulefone Not Mention It.
I think your analysis is very correct!
And to me Ulefone replied: It have glass made in China that's as durable as Corning Gorilla glass.
That's sad... Only 3... Since this is arguably one of their high end ones I was expecting at least GG5
I didn't think it supported CDMA carriers like Verizon?
I think Verizon "can" support CDMA-less but it's no guarantee. It should be assumed that it won't work with your CDMA provider but you might get lucky
@@TrialBySquire Actually since commenting that question I bought one myself to find that it does work with Verizon LTE.
I live in the USA and I bought one. Can't find a Carrier that will let me use it on their network. Now I have a great phone I can't use. :( I just saw, in fine print on Ulefone's site, they warn US carriers don't like them. Has anyone found a carrier in the US that will let this phone be activated on?
I get a bit over 400000 points in latest Antutu on my Ulefone power Armor 13 that i've updated to Android 12.
I am from Barbados...
i really want to buy this phone but i need to know what phone services work with it
Has google doesn't has the Huawei problem but as a former Huawei user my last phones of Huawei mate 20 pro (last mate with Google) and Mate 30 pro i was shocked with this phone in a bad way because doesn't has music player video player gallery in other words has nothing you must download all the apps separately. Does it worth tho choose this phone just because of the battery I don't think so because you need 3+ hours to charge it and mist phones in these days you need 1 hour and a half so is basically the same
It should have 65 watt or 120 watt charging system.
People need to calm down with raising the wattage, I hate 33W as it is, we do far less damage to the cells of the battery by using less wattage, thus making the battery last even longer, thus saving you money in the long run.
👍Thank you👍!.
Hi, are there any rugged phones with removable batteries? Thanks
Samsung Xcover Pro, also rugged just like this phone and with the removable battery feature, awesome phone as well, and a 4005mah battery. Not as big as the Power Armor 13 but still good enough
@@alexguillen3383 Thanks!
helpful question !
Sigh... i would have bought it if it wasn't for G95... For god sake where's is the dimensity 1200..
I would agree but I just don't need the power like I did when I was younger lol.
The reverse wireless charging is cool but ultimately useless if you dont have anything with wireless charging lol. And yet, can the phone itself be charged with a wireless charger?
Yes this phone supports wireless charging at up to 15W too.
So cool ❤👍🤘
Wow amazing 😮
i bought mine already
Hello, why can't I see the time on the screen of my Power armor 13?
I think it’s cool 😎 I wanna get one
Does this phone work with Verizon? I called them but to actually confirm I need the imei number.
Thank you
Lot of people saying it doesn't work on verizon can you confirm it does?
