Completely absurd. She claimed COVID financial hardship while earning full $247,955.58 salary and then used the gov funds she was receiving to buy two vacation homes. SHE IS NOT A VICTIM.

She lied on loan applications. You would likely face similar charges if you did the same thing. She was convicted by a jury. As for me, I’d say an ankle bracelet and some kind of home based community service should suffice so her kids have a mom.

She took advantage of the covid relief act which was allowing folks who were suffering a financial hardship due to covid-19 to withdraw money from their retirement account without paying the taxes. She claimed to suffer financial hardship while continuing to draw her salary of over 200 thousand dollars a year as head prosecutor for Baltimore City. She withdrew money from her 401k under the covid 19 relief act so she wouldn't have to the taxes on that money. She knew exactly what she was doing. She is correct when she says it not against the law to take money out of your 401k as long as you pay the taxes. This lady is a liar. Al Sharpton is not dumb. He knows exactly what she did and he knows she broke the law. She needed the money to purchase investment property and she found a way to avoid paying taxes on the money she withdrew by lying on the application and claiming financial hardship. She is just like Biden, a liar.
Trump is on trial for labeling a legal expense as a legal expense. He's been charged with 91 bs charges that prosecutors had to literally twist and bend themselves into a pretzel to bring. Yet democrats and liberals are covering for their corrupt comrades.

What I dont like about this is that she is not being totally honest about what she actually did. Yes, I think the charges are unnecessarily harsh and I do think the powers that be have an axe to grind with her and are trying to make an example... but I also think she did some things that she's not admitting to and is being dishonest. No incorrect, it’s a 10% penalty if you take any money out of your 401K prior to 65 years old, with few exceptions. She claimed financial hardship during Covid but an audit revealed her salary with the city of Baltimore nearly doubled that year and she was not in any hardship. She removed several million from her 401K beating Uncle Sam out of nearly half a million dollars in tax revenue.

A prosecutor must prove the following to convict a person of perjury: the defendant took an oath to testify truthfully (under penalty of perjury), the accused may have willfully stated that information was true even though he/she knew it was false, that leads to the information material and that's pretty serious.

I have a friend that could review the mortgage and let you know if the mortgage is even legal to begin with, he once told me 90 percent of mortgages are illegal. Make sure the mortgage is legal or they might have used a fraudulent mortgage to convict you which is illegal to begin with.
