Bedford Town Centre Celebrates Armed Forces Day with Spectacular Parade and Festivities 2024

Today, Bedford Town Centre was alive with patriotic spirit as the annual Armed Forces Day Parade took place, honouring our serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and military charities. The event, which drew crowds from across the region, showcased the community’s deep respect and gratitude for the Armed Forces.
The parade commenced at 10:20am from De Parys Avenue, winding its way through the High Street, and encircling St. Paul’s Square before concluding at Harpur Square. Along the route, spectators waved flags and cheered, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere.
Harpur Square transformed into a bustling hub of activity, where stalls and entertainment provided enjoyment for attendees of all ages. The square was filled with the sounds of live music, the sight of historical military displays, and the aromas of delicious food from various vendors.
