If Uther and Jaina actually accompanied him to slaughter the infected, those Dreadlords and Kel Thuzad might not have managed to fool Arthas. No, if King Menithel actually heeded the warning of the prophet, they could have avoided the disaster. They've gotten too lax with their peace that they've forgotten the horror of demons. Arthas never deserved such fate. 😕
I have reforged and still didn't play the campaign because nothing has changed, they could at least setup better animations besides better graphics, thank god we have InsaneMonster and the group that remade Warcraft 2 Tides of darkness, those are the ones who deserve credits for their efforts

All this started because arthas felt guilty about getting his horse killed in a riding accident and he overcompensated for everything in his adulthood.
Uther should have replaced the ashes of Arthas' father with sand and give it to Arthas, that would have been a fatal blow cause sand gets everywehere especially when you wear a full plate armor.
What makes Arthas tragic is that when he picked up Frostmourne, his soul was split in half and his will was dominated. He didn’t even know or realize that what he was doing was wrong up until this cutscene. This isn’t even because of remorse, it’s that he knew he should of felt remorse or pity but he couldn’t. The realization that his will was being subverted happened here, in this moment. To make matters worse, the people he killed and who would later become the Forsaken had wrongly blamed him for their deaths. Even when he began to realize what was happening, it was too late. He was forced into exile while the scourge loyalists stayed behind to hold the line. He never had the opportunity to “wake up” like the Forsaken did. At the very end, he got his revenge on Nee’Zhul but at the cost of his humanity. Then, he dies at the very hands of the people his corrupted mind had been trying to save. He knew the cataclysm was coming, he knew the legion would be back. This guy foresaw everything that was coming and more because Ner’Zhul did.

Updated graphics don't have the charm of the OG models. Going to assume Samwise didn't work on it because he worked on HoTS and HoTS absolutely retains the charm of the Warcraft style with updated graphics. Would maybe forgive it though if they bothered to update the cutscene like at all. It's just the same thing but with less charm.
There is a chinese mod called "Stormrage mod" that imports the HoTS models into warcraft 3. much better than actual reforged. The only good part about the reforged graphics is that they look decent if an actual skilled modder works with them, as proven by LoreCraft studios and InsaneMonster.
