I only have seen a few vods, he's probably more pvp oriented than pushing. Reinier provides healing, he goes crazy swapping him at the center of enemies, sometimes does 2 repel sweep consecutively.
Antandra is the missing link for Soren teams. She let's you frontline soren or Shakir and with her Mythic+ protect, she provides the bulk they need to sustain the initial blows. Alsa, soren, Shakir, antandra and either smokey or rowan seems to work very well.
Looking forward to more feedback on Soren. I'm mostly interested in how he perfoms in pvp as a counter to Eironn teams. If he doesn't function in that capacity by EX10, then he's going to be a hard pass for me. Temporal Essence is too scarce to go to +15 on a hero that has no use in Dream Realm and he doesn't look any better at stage pushing than the usual suspects. Not gonna lie but I think he's bad, at least that's my first impression.
i had 17 tickets but he didn't drop. i just wanted one drop but i guess we'll see if i get anymore of those limited bundles pop during his banner so i can try later. not using any gems for him.

100% more PvP hero for the Mauler comp to counter the Eironn/Arden/Carolina PvP teams. He also provides a solid 2nd team with Alsa in AFK Battles.

It showed x7 at first because when you unlock a character it doesn't count as an extra soul, so it is "Unlock + 7 souls" the first time.

been using Rhys since day one dude has always did crazy damage.
He is growing on me but REALLY needs to get to his Ult for the dmg to get crazy

He’s pretty good. Tankier than Alsa. Need ex10 and does more dps than shakir if you can keep him alive. He’s also map dependent.

One copy of him isn't the best idea since he is squishy even max built. Save up. At least that pity will carry over to next banner too
