This was a bit overscored. Her routine from team finals and the AA were better than this one, I would've given anywhere in the 9.700-9.750 range, and out of the medals. The fact that the judges scored Esther Moya's routine (more difficulty, better execution, and better landings) more than a tenth lower than Khorkina's was a joke
This is the perfect 10 score fault. They didn't valued the D score so this kind of thing used to happen frequently, exercise without much dificulty medaling, while exercise with a way more difficulty out of medals because the excecution had small errors. With the new code of points, she wouldn't even have a bronze. I think astristy has to count to in order to avoid some robbotic presentations, but the D score NEEDS to be very valued, how is today.
