I have seen ALL the videos others have done & they haven’t come close to explaining exactly what to put where! I think they are so used to their machines they assume things that every owner must know like which pad goes where or even to define the machine as a pressure machine which cuts! I had not the first idea but your video saved me. I’ll watch anything you make now. ❤ greetings from Brisbane. 🇦🇺😀

I bought Gemini II but it's such an expensive trashy machine. The plates warped to the point that they won't go in the feeder. Gemini II company won't take it back and Joann fabrics said to go through them= I'm stuck with this expensive trashy machine. This Sizzix big shot is so much fun to use and the plates don't warp or curve like the trash gemini II. If you're trying to decide which one to buy, buy this one. The handle is so easy to turn, you don't need an expensive button to turn on because it will be useless due to their plates warping except if you want to spend $45 a week to replace gemini II plates.
I just bought a Big Shot machine. When I try to emboss the machine starts, but then the top plate lifts and will not roll through. If I force it, it goes through, but a big snap at the end. I am so frustrated right now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The cutting surface size of the standard Big Shot is A5, so you couldn't fit anything bigger. You also have the Big Shot Plus available which has a larger surface area so you can use materials up to 21,59x27,94 cm ☺

Hi Pat! Yes, you can cut fabric with BIGZ dies, they are multimaterial and the ones that cut fabric 😊.
