Yo. How do I disable "Display Off" ENTIRELY? I'm using my camera for streaming & this is really getting on my nerves. I keep having to run through batteries using a wireless shutter remote to keep the dang thing on.
@@CanonUSA It's not a power issue. It's a firmware issue. I use an AC Adapter, so it's not using up battery power. The only options for "Display off" ranges from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. I want to turn it OFF. Completely.
@@gibby_sama5800 We want to make sure we understand your question correctly. Are you looking to turn the display off altogether? Or are you looking to disable the "Display off" function so that the screen remains on continuously? Once we can get this clarification, we can let you know whether it's possible and how to achieve it. We look forward to your reply!
@@CanonUSA I want to disable the "display off" function in the power saving menu. I am a Twitch streamer & my camera shuts off automatically every 30 minutes, during 3+ hour streams. Other Canon cameras have an option to turn this off all together. There is no option on this camera. I'd like a way to fix this or a Firmware update, so that I can.

You may want to simply flip the LCD screen closed. This will turn on the viewfinder and use considerably less power.
