- Have you ever wondered what happens when you die? The majority of Christian churches will not teach you what the Bibles really says about this.
What happens 2 minutes after you die? Is there life after #death? Is there reincarnation? What about karma? Answers can be found in the #Bible and they speak loudly from this episode: The Grave.
This episode will focus on the nature of man and what happens when you die. Great emphasis will be placed upon the reality that death is simply creation in reverse. The state of being during death is a simply unconscious rest awaiting the return of Jesus.

Ten years ago, Cami Oetman had a real encounter with God that would change her life forever. She was a successful entrepreneur at the time, and the transition wasn’t easy. However, the truth Cami will share in this series was so compelling that she knew every human being in the world should experience the love of Jesus as she had.
Within three years, she had preached 350 Bible presentations. Today, as a vice president for Adventist World Radio, Cami travels the world documenting the miracles that take place when people give their hearts to Jesus.
It may seem difficult to imagine yourself understanding Bible prophecy.
Cami couldn’t either. She had spent two decades in the modeling world - in front of and behind the camera. She had also used her master’s degree in social work to care for hospice patients. She then started a successful retail business. But no one can predict how they will react when they have a real experience with God!
THE GRAVE
Have you experienced the loss of a family member or a loved one? Have you ever found yourself questioning, what happens when you die? We often hear stories of people who have had death experiences; they recall seeing bright lights, visions of Heaven, and even having out-of-body experiences. There is much controversy surrounding the topic of life after death. There are a number of different beliefs that are held by Christians and non-Christians alike. Some believe that, after you die, your soul goes to Heaven or Hell. Others believe in reincarnation or that death is simply the end. The most reliable source we have, the Bible, provides us with a clear answer on what really happens after death.
Many of the beliefs that people have about death today originate from ancient Greek philosophy, which teaches that the soul is immortal- it can live separately from the body and have a life of its own. This means that even after we have died, we are able to think, feel, and communicate with those on Earth and in Heaven. In contrast, the Bible views death as creation, only in reverse. Ecclesiastes 12:7: “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.” God does not allow the soul to keep living after the body has died, instead, He preserves their identity in His mind alone. Their spirit is returned to God in the form of His power.
The Bible consistently refers to death as a sleep, even Jesus himself acknowledges this in the account of Lazarus found in John 11:11-25. God promises that there will be no more pain and suffering in Heaven. If we were able to witness the problems our loved ones are facing on Earth while we are looking down on them, wouldn’t this bring more pain rather than joy? God in His mercy would rather let us sleep than allow us to watch helplessly as our loved ones continue their lives on Earth.
Satan uses these false ideas about death to deceive us. Fallen angels appear to us as messengers, impersonating dead friends and relatives in order to communicate with those who are seeking guidance from them. Many people find comfort in knowing that their loved ones are enjoying Heaven; and, without realizing it, they listen to evil spirits and devils. The Bible predicts that evil angels will give warnings and foretell the future- appearing to be reliable- so their false teachings are accepted. These angels will influence the nations of the world and lead them to end-time events. We should seek our information from the Bible only. Satan can only deceive those who give in to his temptations. Those who rely on God’s word and endeavor to follow the truth will be rescued. Jesus is available to you always; all you have to do is ask Him.

Just yesterday, I read the following verse found in Luke 15:20 and was impressed by part of the verse that I'd never noticed before. It reads: "And he (the prodigal son) arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet A GREAT WAY OFF, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him." You may be A GREAT WAY OFF but, the Father has compassion on you and will run to meet you. While we prodigals stumble and fall as we walk the road back, while we are A GREAT WAY OFF, God, the Father, will not abandon us. He will run to meet you if you will only set your heart to return and fully surrender. He is ever faithful and His word is sure. He said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Heb. 13:5

She is wrong. She doesn’t have the Holy Spirit to understand the word of Gid. Let’s see, Jesus is fully God, and fully human. When Jesus took his last breath the spirit left him and the body went to the grave and his soul went to the center of the earth to preach to the fallen angel’s spirits and take everyone from paradise to heaven( the first fruits). Regarding the teaching that no dead goes to heaven except on the last day at the resurrection, Matthew 17 is about the transfiguration of Jesus and the verse 3 says that Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus to talk with Him.... l believe they had ascended to Heaven after death and came from Heaven to discuss with Jesus or do you suggest Jesus summoned their spirits?
Bear in mind that Moses died (Deuteronomy 34), but Elijah ascended into Heaven (2 Kings 2:3-9) which is why the prophecy said Elijah would return from Heaven to herald the Messiah and they expected Elijah, not realizing it was John the Baptist (Malachi 4:5-6, Matthew 17:10).
So if Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus together, was Elijah in heaven and Moses sleeping in the grave apart?

But also Matthew 27:52 says that the graves of the long dead saints were opened upon the hour Jesus died, and the veil of the temple torn because Jesus had then fulfilled the law of sin and death which had condemned mankind from the time of the curse in Genesis 3 as shown in Ezekiel 18:4 (the soul that sins shall die-meaning eternal damnation to all descendants of Adam & Eve)
So God removed Adam and Eve from the garden because the soul that sins shall die "And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." Genesis 3:22
So Isaiah 53 prophesies that mankind and all the holy prophets and the Israelites were waiting for the Messiah to come die for mankind and give mankind access to Heaven, since no human can pay for the sins of another as shown in Ezekiel 18:20; but only God can, which is why God the Father sent Jesus to pay for us, because Jesus is God,(Isaiah 9:6).
"For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." Isaiah 53:12
Thus, when Jesus died, He had paid then the prize for mankind's salvation on behalf of Adam, thereby giving us access to Heaven upon death, for Jesus had fulfilled that law of sin and death in Ezekiel 18:4 and Ezekiel 18:20; and these holy dead men and women arose from their graves and were seen in the cities (Matthew 27:52), because mankind now had immediate access to Heaven upon death and from then on wards, humans could go to Heaven after death and no more locked in their graves waiting for the Messiah to come liberate us and grant us the access to Heaven as Isaiah 53 prophesied.
That is also why Jesus told the repentant thief, that today, you will be with Me in paradise - not exactly with Jesus in paradise, but with the other Two Persons of the Holy Trinity, because they are One - which is why Jesus severally referred to Himself as "WE and "OUR" in John 14:23 and John 3:11. Also, the Bible says in John 2:19 that Jesus told the Jews He would resurrect His own Body after 3 days, but the Bible also says in Romans 8:11 that the God the Holy Spirit raised Jesus and in Acts 2:24 that God the Father raised up Jesus .
After death, Jesus Himself descended into hell after His death to retrieve the dominion satan stole at the creation in Genesis 3, which is why when Jesus arose, He told His disciples that "All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me".....so satan no longer has dominion over the world, but Jesus does, because He has paid the prize to fulfil the law of sin and death which condemned Adam and Eve and their descendant eternally in Genesis 3.
When the Bible says Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead, it means the living humans and the dead are those already in hell, because hell will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelations 20:14). In other words, souls go to heaven or hell immediately after death, but hell is not yet cast into fire, which is the final judgement.
If you say the coma sign in the statement Jesus made to the repentant thief implies he will wait till the resurrection morning to enter heaven, how about the long saints who arose from the graves upon Jesus’ death in Matthew 27:52?
Or do you suggest they arose and were seen walking about in the cities, and afterwards they returned back to sleep in their graves to arise a 2nd time on resurrection morning of the judgement day? I don’t think so !!!
If the souls of the dead remain sleeping in their graves as Lazarus was, but in their case, up till the judgement day to resurrect, billions of graves have been demolished to construct buildings and roads, so when the graves of these dead are demolished, where then do they rest since you assert the dead only sleep in their graves till resurrection morning on the last day?
Or do the souls of these dead people join the fallen spirits and demons to wander and prowl the earth? Since you assert they can neither enter heaven nor hell ?
This is what Jesus meant when He said to Martha, I am the resurrection and the Life, for as soon as Jesus died, the souls who were trapped in their graves arose, for they were awaiting redemption for the payment of the law of sin and death to be fulfilled and allow the initially condemned mankind to now access Heaven, because though they lived righteous lives of their own (hence Matthew 27:52 calls them long dead saints), but they were condemned in Genesis 3 for being descendants of Adam & Eve, just as all mankind is, and that is what Jesus’ Baptism cleanses us of, the curse of original sin by Adam & Eve, transferring followers of Jesus from the family of Adam (the fallen man) to the family of Jesus (the Holy God made Man).

Also, in you video presentations, you show images representing Jesus. The Holy Spirit told me, we have to pay close attention to the 2nd commandment of God:
Exodus 20:4
“You shall not MAKE for yourself an image in the form of ANYTHING in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
This clearly shows that God did not mention the word statues, but it shows God does not want us making pictures, videos, statues, monuments, crucifixes or any images of any person in Heaven, let alone of Himself - Jesus is God the Son.
It also shows that God does not also want us taking pictures or videos of our dead loved ones at their funerals or to make any monuments of them after they die & have become spirits - for they could be in Heaven, on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

Isn't the reason why JESUS returns is to collect his own , what would be the point of his return if we all went to heaven straight away after death ,

Our souls go to be with the Lord depending on if you received Him as your savior. The body is in the grave, when He collects, our grave body will rise and join with our soul which has already went to be with the Lord. Then our body will be glorified.

@@marchangel7462 No, they don't. Only our breath ceases, and the living body/soul then becomes a dead body/soul. God's word makes clear that man is a living soul, not a person and a soul, two separate entities. When God breathed into Adam's nostrils, God says in Genesis "He became a living soul." Indeed, when the news reports an airliner crash and such, they say, for example, there were 300 souls on board, or 300 souls perished. Meaning entire persons died. The Bible consistently makes clear no part of us goes to heaven immediately after death. That we rest, unconscious in our graves until the Second Coming of Jesus and the resurrection. As for proof, knowing God's Word for yourself is crucial. Because in so doing myself, that was when truth was discovered for myself and not only about death. But also about the true Sabbath (the 7th day), no secret rapture, no "Once saved, always saved etc. As for the truth this speaker and other's are sharing with you here? I challenge you to prayerfully "search the Scriptures" immediately for yourself on every subject, comparing verses in context. You will absolutely discover there is no truth to the life immediately after death doctrine. It is false theology.
I am so thankful for hearing this presentation. I pray that many will be blessed as they hear how God loves us and cares about everything we face. First my Daddy died, then my Mama. It was so painful, but I remembered what I had read in the Bible and I thanked God for His words of comfort and hope. I pray each person who hears this will be reassured that we are not alone, that Jesus is right beside us through each trial. We can trust Him to be faithful to His promises. I so anticipate the Resurrection.

John 14:1-3 , 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:12-58 and Psalms 91. I started listening to the Bible on my iphone , the Bible.is app and I found I could listen to a whole book in one day, the stories stayed with me throughout the day and I started thinking about God’s perspective as I listened and I found Revelation to be God’s love letter to us.

I've long struggled to find a church that I can call home and so just stopped going as I feel I keep reaching out to god but not getting anywhere then slipping back into bad old habits of the world. Every time I hear a seventh day Adventist preach I feel drawn to listen bit many Christians I know say it's not christianity etc. Think I should listen to my heart and give this a chance. Really enjoyed todays word so thank you. Also this thing about Saturday being the sabbath actually makes sense to me x

" Isa. 8:20 Also, Revelation 14:12, in speaking of the people of God: "Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." God has a people. He always has had. From the beginning of time, He has always had a people that He called His own; those who love and obey Him. Pray and ask God to guide you. He will send His spirit and teach you all things you need to know. He will lead you into truth, His truth. He will show you whether 7th-day Adventists are Christians, i.e., followers of Christ, or not.
Yes, listen to your heart as God leads you. I can tell you, that the Seventh-day Adventist Church speaks the truth as stated from the Bible. Each person is responsible for their own Salvation. It is imperative that we are lead by God not our fellow man. Many people believe all we have to do is believe in God to be saved, if that were true Satan would be saved, He believes in Jesus, we know he will be lost. So many people think they have do do as Jesus asks, this is dangerous. Jesus died for us, but they don't want to be inconvenienced. If I can help you in any way, I am happy to do it.

The story of the thief on the cross:---There were NO commas ,periods , exclamation marks in the original writings. BTW--the words were ALL written as one word---Like this: Ifyoulovemekeepmycommandments.--The translators added spaces,periods,commas,exclamation marks,etc. Luke 23:42,43---Read it like it should have been translated: " Assuredly,I say to you TODAY, you will be with Me in paradise." Jesus DID NOT ascend to heaven until 40 days later!!! So,there IS NO WAY the thief could have been with Jesus that day in Paradise. Had the comma been placed in the proper place,there would be NO confusion today.

The information from this video makes total sense! I always had questions about death. As such, I was confused. Because of this confusion, I've always feared death. I also felt complete emotional torment because I've always wondered if any of my family members who died made it to Heaven or not. So, thank you for this information! Thank you for posting this video. The love of my life passed away in June suddenly and the first thing I wanted to do was to talk to him. That I started to search for a medium but instead I found Jesus Christ. Now me and my daughters are born again Christian. I'm still missing him every day but I know now he resting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I will see him again. Jesus is coming soon. watching from south Florida❤
