  • I know the video is a bit long, but I think you will get some value from it.
Is this the best 20 gauge O/U turkey shotgun? Best 20 gauge turkey shotgun?
Lots of potential in this gun, we will see how it holds up this season.

Thanks for the review. I have the Stevens 555 and I am now purchasing the ATI. 💪🏼

I think an o/u is the coolest looking shotgun out there. I have always been reluctant to get one because of the things you mentioned. However, that one seems to be very usable. That was a great review. Thanks.

I really like the two barrel, long range and close concept. I tried a few years ago with a SxS and the patterns went from parallel to each to same POI to crossing over the farther you shot. Not good.
I hope the other ATI Cavalry guns shoot similarly.

I've killed an Ozark Eastern and a Black Hills Merriam with mine already. I used a rib mounted red dot, and a Carlson tss choke with federal #9 tss.
Best Part, I run tss in the top barrel with the Carlson choke tube and any cheap 20 guage shell in the under barrel with the factory full choke for under 20 yards.
Being able to select which barrel at the time of shot is awesome!

I will typically run with my gun safety in the position for my under barrel, which is the short range barrel, because I figure if it’s long range I’ll have time to push it over and then off

The extractors are different because the ATI has ejectors instead of extractors like the Stevens
This means it will eject whichever shell that's been shot and lift the unfired shell.
Edit: I commented too soon. I see you figured it out

Thats a very clever feature. It might be common on most O/U but find it nifty.

@@RegularGuysOutdoors it's common on high end OU Shotguns but not budget models. When I picked a dedicated Turkey OU, that feature was required and that's why I went with the Yildiz at the time. It had ejectors at the right price

Any issues with the two barrels alignment?@@jesseseals4239

@@RegularGuysOutdoors Not on my 20 gauge Yildiz. I also have a 410 Yildiz and it's a little off but still very usable
I have a.581 with Hevi Shot Mag Blend in the top barrel on my 20. I have have a Light Modified with Fiocchi Golden Pheasant 7.5 in the bottom barrel for inside 30 yards, I call it "my can't miss barrel"

Disappointing that the manufacturer is not advertising the gun accurately with the composite stock vs the wood

it is, it almost seems to have some kind of a hard skin on it.

Great video. Does the stevens have the barrel selector like the ATI? Thanks

Is the recoil really bad? Just wonder what the flip flop was for? I’m thinking about getting one is is the only reason ima asking about the recoil

I've been looking for one locally with no luck. I'm surprised that the stock is actually wood. That is odd and I wonder why they claim synthetic? Good luck with it.

The upside of having the wood stock is that I can cut it down to make it more of a youth model like the Stevens 555 stock. The downside is I hope it doesn’t flare and break like the 555 did.
